Great observations by the OSU WBB Faithful. Here are my observations (most already covered) 1. This game made me appreciate what a great point guard Aleah Goodman was for OSU. Aleah ran the show, always had everyone in the game in the right places, directed everything on the court, and....could break down the defense and either score or find the open player. Did anyone see that happen in this game? Time to give Martha a shot. Martha is our only true PG 2. I observed so much confusion on offense...our players didn't know what offense they were running and the shot clock would get down to 8 seconds and we would have to heave a prayer (and we never even ran our offense)? 3. OSU got beat getting back on defense so many times, And TvO's player was often the player who got the layup. That was really a killer 4. It was very easy to understand why Rueck is so high on Timea G. First college game and she showed that she has no fear, and is completely confident in her abilities. We just got to make sure we keep Timea and Raegan from going to another program 5. I agree with so many that it is time to shake things up and play our best players the majority of the minutes. That means Timea & Raegan for sure. I know who I would give minutes to after that, but I don't want to argue with anyone else right now  GO BEAVS |

Wait, I thought that Timea was the missing piece? And I got got crucified for saying this is a 6-8th place team. And this loss puts us in 8th. I will be patiently awaiting apologies. Don't be such a drama queen. Nobody got got crucified here. Not even figuratively.  |

They keep playing games like this and Rueck keeps coaching like this and she might not be the only one I agree with that. TVO could transfer to WSU or U of W, Timea & Reagan could go back to Utah or Colorado. Who knows. Oh dear  |

Remember a few years ago when Colorado, Utah, Arizona, oregon (before inoescu), and wazoo weren't very good and We were at the top? Those were the days. Can we get there again? I'm leaning no.

With as good as the 2 freshmen look there is reason to be excited about the future.
Then again, as we have learned it is hard to predict what a roster will look like year to year.

There have been comments made that Mit isn't athletic enough to play big minutes against teams like wazoo. Can somebody please name a pac12 opponent where she is athletic enough to play big minutes?

Ha!!, that's a big NO this year for sure. And, if any of the starters or freshmen leave, I'm betting some will (who wants to sit on the bench or play on a bottom of the conference team) it will be a wholesale dumpster fire!! Don't pretend to know what's going on but I'm leaning to turmoil in the staff maybe, some of SR's moves leave most of us wondering WTF. Beat the dawgs or the train is off the rails and this season is nothing more than practice for 2024. WSU is likely a mid conference team and if you can't beat them at home (they've won 5 in a row from the beavs) the confidence level just exploded. |

And in closing highly recruited players from say Wisconsin and Texas don't come all the way to Corvallis so they can sit on the bench game after game after game.
I mentioned this last night but with 2 minutes in the game down by 10 you go to a zone? WTF? It should be a time you are running all over the court trying to disrupt things. I firmly believe that the person lost is rueck.

Big minutes? A couple at the most. I don't think she should be playing big minutes at all. Beers should. |

My second question does mannen start for any other pac12 team? No. But she is better than some people think. Would be a great off the bench spark for every other team. Rueck not only starts her but has played her more and more. |

good to great getting the number 6 & 10th ranked players in the country. The 23 class was a disappointment as the highest ranked player we signed was ranked 82.

The 23 class was a disappointment as the highest ranked player we signed was ranked 82. Rankings mean something, but not everything. For reference, Wiese was ranked No. 80 and Tudor No. 90. There’s plenty of great guards in the 50-100 range. If ESPN still used CGBR (which had Hunter as No. 34 nationally), we’d probably be more excited. Regardless, the guard recruiting needs to get better and Rueck needs to find more consistent guards. We have an exciting underclass core with Talia, Raegan, Timea, and AJ. |

If I came all the way out here from Wisconsin to sit on the bench of the 8th place team, why would I stay next year? Asking for a friend.
