Timea's status for this coming weekend games?

Barring any announcement from the team before Friday (which btw would be welcome), I suppose that at about 6:05 pm Friday the 13th we'll know more....i.e. is Timea in typical sweats or in game uniform during warm-up?

Not a peep on twitter or any other source at this point. Would love it if an informed inside source (or even a kinda-sorta knowledgeable outside source) would provide at least a clue before Friday evening rolls around.

If she doesn't play this weekend, it's certainly possible we won't see her at all this season....after the 2 Washington schools, it's only about 6 weeks until Conference Tournament in Las Vegas.

p.s. Beavs have no games at Utah this season.

The NCAA has created a situation in which, for the last 2 years, more than 1 in 3 D1 women's basketball players with eligibility remaining transfer after the season. That number might go down some as the extra covid year fades away, but that's what it is right now.

So I see no reason to redshirt anybody if they're capable of playing. In Timea's case, if redshirted, she'd have 1 year of eligibility remaining after having spent the requisite 4 years at OSU and graduating. Even if she is, mathematically, one of the few who spends all 4 years at the same school, might she not want to spread her wings and go elsewhere for that last year, as Taya did?

Yet another amen to that. We've all been surprised, and thrilled, with what Raegan has brought to us as a freshman. If Timea can do anything remotely close, it's a whole new ball game for us. This team is very young and needed to learn how to, and expect to, win. I think they're headed in that direction, and Timea on the court will be a big, big boost to the team.

And, yeah, let her take in the ovation she's going to receive when she's announced; let it flow over and through her. She's an 18 year old kid, and she's never experienced anything in her short career that is anything like that's going to be - just for her.

Let's find some more minutes for Martha.

Right now, they play 3 guards a lot - Talia, Bendu, and Noelle. As they ease Timea into the rotation, her minutes will come from one of those three, presumably Noelle. That gives us a better team on the floor than the 3 guard lineup does.

Well, that would be great news, but who, pray tell, is Vicki Mason?
