Well, that would be great news, but who, pray tell, is Vicki Mason? Glad you asked, I'm sure others were wondering too. She runs a Facebook Group called: OREGON STATE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL HOOP SCOOP Her Facebook Group does do a nice job of providing info, their strong suit is info on former players and where they are, how they are doing, etc. including links to their games sometimes. Dang it, didn't notice the misspelling of Mason vs Maxon, I'm betting bvrbooster was being sarcastic because the name was wrong, oh well, now you all know a little more about her group.
and back to the main point, they (someone) had projected Timea would show the AZ weekend, I hope, hope this time it's correct. We did see her in practice videos weeks ago.

Not quite sure how she does it but Vickie Maxon’s FB page provides the most up to date info on the current team. Her guidelines basically prohibit bad mouthing coaches or players. You can come here if you want to do that!

The Joe Beaver Show guys were supposed to ask Deven Hunter about Timea during today's show, but I missed it. Anyone hear what she had to say? They might have been talking about a show later this week, I'm not sure.

With respect to Timea playing, somebody posted about 2 weeks ago that he had asked her at the 8 minute mingle, and she said Washington State. I don't recall any mention of Arizona. |

Ok, I'll blame another "senior moment" it was probably the Washington weekend all along, either way, after listening to Deven's interview, I didn't hear about Timea after all. They did say at the beginning that they planned to ask that question. On the list of podcasts at that link they interview Syd and Noelle on previous ones FYI.

Early in the season there was hope expressed that she would be ready after the first of the year which would be the Arizona games.

Listened to the Joe Beaver Show from the start of her interview all the way to the end to see if they at least mentioned that they had missed asking about Timea. My guess is that they either forgot, ran out of time (the interview was the last of the program) or that Hunter or someone else at OSU requested that they do not ask about Gardiner. If it's the latter, I wouldn't take it as a decision based on her not playing, probably more about not talking about injuries.

Vicki Maxon is something akin to "Den Mother" super fan for OSU WBB.....She knows all of the girls and they know her....
She seems to travel to almost every game - - every time I travel I see her in her orange leather jacket....
Her knowledge of basketball is not exceptional, but her knowledge of the players, and much of the staff, is.
