Great weekend for AJ, showed her mental toughness and readiness to come off the bench and be really productive. IMO Still think she should be starting, love her jump shot!

Part of that is how many shots they’ve missed. 17-70 24.3% ...and some typical LONG rebounds off missed 3-pt shots...bouncing beyond the reach of Beavs nearer the hoop. |

True but to my eye Beav players setting up for many rebounds too close in, need back up a couple of feet. Lots of them just barely going long over their heads. |

The difference in quickness is laughable...ASU has another couple of scorers other than Skinner and they win this. Beavers just can't match up and this is going to be how it is in most games nowadays. Rueck has to add more quickness (maybe Timea helps in this area soon) in the offseason. This is what college women's basketball has become.

A win is a win and the Beavers need them. It was pretty ugly and I, for one, am not going to pretend that they looked good in many areas. But overall, a decent weekend.

Rueck's lineup decisions seem nonsensical at times (not really based on what the opponent is doing) and his habit of sitting there and watching the team go through a bad stretch and allowing a big run by the opponent almost seems as if he's wanting the players to go through a "learning moment," rather than calling a time out. |
