Agree. Being a low 200s NET ranking is rough, but at least we are an average D1 team (far from an average power conference team though) instead of rock bottom. Being even this level was going to be a chore after last year plus who left.
Last year shouldn’t have happened, but the trend is at least the right direction.

Agreed. I’ve felt it’s ok to admit last year was a monumental failure by Tinkle at every level…but still be able to think this team is shaping up nicely

It's nice but we lost to PSU twice. I Know Wayne has a big buyout but maybe we can use bowl game revenue?

We've got a team of what, 15 players, and only 2 of them played more than 7 games together last year. I think none of them played together 2 years ago. Their better days as a team are ahead of them. Hopefully this season even. Patience, at least to a degree. Freak out after the season is over if it turns out poorly. |

No reason to believe if they gel,osu MBB could win 12-15 games this year. Very young and give great effort. A team I can get behind. Need to keep them together going forward.

Oregon State has the 10th-largest budget in the Pac-12. If Oregon State is average, then Tinkle is doing a hell of a job. You are a spoiled Twins fan or a Leeds United fan. Why can't we win Championships every year? Seriously?  Make and invest millions into the program, and we can have a serious discussion about the coach to take us to the next level. Until then, you are nailing Jell-o to a tree. If you think that strawberry Jell-o will adhere more easily than peach, I have a bridge that you might be interested. |

Winning seasons in 5 of 8 years, after taking over a team that had 2 winning seasons in the previous 24 years. |
