So bizarre that they wouldn’t make a run st Eric Bienemy. Sanders is mostly a publicity stunt imo, good coach or not. With Bienemy you have someone with ties to the best of CU football. Not a flash in the pan.
But then again, these are the same people that hired Karl Dorrell.

The article doesn't make sense to me. On the one hand the Buffs, according to the article, have offered Sanders the job. On the other hand, in a later paragraph, the Buffs have "...not given up on its pursuit of Illinois defensive coordinator Ryan Walters, who is a Colorado alum."
How do you offer a job to one guy while hoping another takes it? Is that commonplace in the coaching world?
Or is this article just noise?

The article on the matter that I think is more reflective of Neon Dion and the situation: www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/35132533/deion-sanders-confirms-offered-colorado-jobI especially like the following quote, which underscores the "all about me" quantity Deon could bring to the job. I thought Colorado was a bit more academically inclined, but it's the era we live in, and his hiring might be the "splash" the UC folks are looking for: Interesting that UC is mum on the topic as well. Go Beavers!

....................."To someone else that hasn't been that dude, it's intoxicating. I've been 'Prime' for a long time, dawg," Sanders said with a laugh. "Attention ain't nothing new to me. Like, come on. I'm not being braggadocious -- that's a wonderful word, isn't it? I just came up with that -- but this isn't new to me. Being in the spotlight isn't new to me."
Such a humble man.

That's because of KU, NU, and OU. Put your letters in a sensical order! Colorado needs to get with the program like UW, U of O, UC, USC, UCLA, U of A and U of U did.

Can't decide whether I'm surprised that he knew the word braggadocious or dumbstruck by him thinking that he just coined it.

Supposed to be hiring the Illinois DC, a CU grad and ex-player.

“Pram Tam,” vs “Niner?” I’ll take JS every single day. It WILL get a bit noisier, here…in the PAC.

Whether I think it’s a good hire or not, one thing is for sure. It’s bringing a lot more attention to the PAC than it normally would. Like if they hired some DC from Illinois. That wouldn’t make a headline on ESPN.

I can't wait until he comes to Corvallis. And we play there next season.
I'll be CU sells 5K more season tickets before Christmas. Their first two home games next season are Nebraska and CSU. Those are going to be tough tickets to find.
He's one of the greatest CB/KR in NFL history, he's in numerous footballs HOFs, he played MLB, he's actually pretty entertaining on TV, and Jackson State is undefeated and his players seem to love him. Sometimes it is hard to be humble when you've accomplished as much as he has.
