There wasn't much video of her though, so I wonder if she is able to fully participate. It also looks like Adlee may not have participated in full practice. Did anyone see her before the end? Not trying to start rumors, just curious. Little injuries that keep a player out of drills for a short time happen often.

Adlee is in the background of drills earlier in the video and she looks like she has a pretty good sweat going at the end of the video, so seems likely the video just doesn’t show everybody in action.

Ron Callan talks with Bendu: I hope you all got to hear the full interview. Most notably, she was suggesting that Jelena has taken another “leap” and is playing at another level. She was high on all of the freshman, though didn’t say anything specific about anyone but Jelena. Of course this is when you need to be wary of “pre-season hype”, so who knows how good the team will really be… but I’m pretty darn enthused!

Talia said "that competitive spirit that was lacking last year" Ouch. I think no more sort of being a leader on the team, Talia knows she is the boss and I hope that she can bear up under that weight.

My favorite part was when she referenced the rumors that she was leaving along with the others who did, which she said made her mad, adding, "I"m here to stay. I'm a Beaver for life!"
Us too, Talia. Well said.

I remember in the midst of the transfers at the end of last season, she got on social media and posted something to the effect of "when things get hard, go harder." That's the mindset that we need in our program. Attitudes are contagious and we want hers!

That's the mindset that we need in our program. Attitudes are contagious and we want hers! Absolutely right. And she's a veteran now, a team leader. I can visualize her preaching that same message to this year's freshmen, and next year's freshmen, and the freshmen after that. I sure hope they hear it, that she makes them all understand that the answer to short term adversity isn't bailing out - if it were, there wouldn't be a single couple in the United States who had reached their 10th wedding anniversary. I hope she keeps saying it loud and clear all year long.

That part of the interview surprised me. Both coaches have pretty much been opposed to the 3rd game because of the tremendous pressure these games bring to the staff and to the players. On the other hand, it's great for public interest and awareness; it's a good revenue source; and it allows each team to compete in a great non-conference game without travelling much....
Has anyone seen elsewhere that it's a non conference game.... GO BEAVS!!
