Honest question…..who do you go with in this super? I’m going with Tennessee mainly because I would love to play them for the championship. But that being said, I still wouldn’t mind ND upsetting the front runner but then again….damn I just can’t root for the domers. Nuff said

2022 UTenn baseball: Hyper-talented but painfully self-consumed and arrogant. And the most aggressively obnoxious of the whole bunch?? Easy answer: Their jacka$$ of a head coach. Kentucky took 2/3 from them and they whined and made excuses like a bunch of immature, spoiled 11-yr olds. I've never seen a more classless team in ANY organized sport. 'Gotta believe that most, if not all, of the rest of the SEC would love to see them get their comeuppance in the super-R or the CWS. ADD: check out the video of their rgt fielder Jordan Beck flipping the bird at the Ga Tech team as he rounds 1st base... www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaafb/tennessee-baseballs-jordan-beck-sent-one-fingered-message-to-georgia-tech-in-ninth-inning-rally/ar-AAY7BUB?ocid=uxbndlbingTRY to show some class next time Jordan. Oh wait...first, he needs to know what that is...

I'm no fan of the domers, but I definitely don't like the overall vibe coming from the Vols program. They may crack under pressure......And there's always the talk of no #1 seed has won since Miami in '99. They just seem like a team that has potential to melt down under stress, imo......but, then again, they have accumulated a massive amount of talent, both in the lineup, and on the mound.

I don’t have a lot to say but inability to deal with failure/adversity is probably the least successful trait in baseball. Individual a hitter fails like 50% of the time (OBP not ERA). Teams can fail half a game and still win. It’s a game of limiting failure more than winning.

I am struggling with Arkansas vs. North Carolina! UNC's fans were much better than Arkansas'. UNC's coach was classy and complimentary every time we beat them (so was Arkansas's). Carolina's players were not showboats. Mostly, Carolina isn't in the SEC. That's the litmus test for me. I know I will never be For anyone from the SEC Thinking they're great So easy to hate Omaha is best when SEC-free

Unfortunately, they were in our way.

I'm sure their fans are great. I just don't like the SEC. Or Omaha? As it's not been "best" for at least 25-30 seasons as I'm pretty sure an SEC team (at least one, many times multiple) has been there during that time.

Henry SkrimshanderThe last time that there was no SEC teams was 1992, the year Pepperdine won it. Notably, that was the final season of the 10-team SEC before Arkansas and South Carolina joined to give the SEC 12 teams. Having said that, the SEC only had one (or two in 1994) team(s) that went 2&Q in 1994, 2006, 2007 and 2016. Oregon State won National Championships in 2006 and 2007. And Arizona played in the National Championship Game in 2016. 2006 and 2007 were great years!

When they are all eliminated, there are no SEC teams there. I like Omaha. I don't like the SEC. Not that difficult a concept to grasp. "There are three stages: Thoughtless being. Thought. Return to thoughtless being.
"Do not confuse the first and third stages. Thoughtless being is attained by everyone, the return to thoughtless being by a very few."

I am struggling with Arkansas vs. North Carolina! I don't know much about North Carolina. Mike Fox retired during COVID-19. The Heels promoted Scott Forbes to head coach. Forbes was the Heels' pitching coach from 2006-2020 before becoming head coach. Forbes also played for Fox back in the 1990s. If Forbes is like Fox, North Carolina will be very well-coached. I personally thought that Fox was a better situational coach than Dave Van Horn. Both guys let Casey get into their heads, though. Personally, I believe that Arkansas is more talented but that North Carolina is possibly better-coached. North Carolina tends to not travel as well to Omaha. And Arkansas has a terrible fanbase in my opinion. Also, Oregon State has never won a National Championship without beating North Carolina. With a win, maybe Arkansas is the new North Carolina, though?
