So, it's 2022 and the PAC-12 has two teams that very well may be top 5 seeds in Baseball for the National Championship tournament.
The PAC 12 network is covering the inaugural post-season Conference Tournament.
The Conference has produced FIVE National Championships in Baseball in the past 22* years.
So what do they show between games? The Fvcking Ducks, playing fvcking football !!
* in those 22 years, there have been ZERO National Champions in football from the PAC-12.
I would have loved seeing some PAC-12 baseball highlights (even UCLA or UA National Championship highlights) ! .

If the PAC 12 resembled, even a tiny bit, a professional studio they would assemble a staff and have a live segment between games. Like football with Ashley, Yogi etc.

Don’t they have a studio crew during the basketball season too? Seems like they really should have something between games during the tournament.

Let me make some guesses why they don't: 1) It costs money 2) Baseball is a revenue losing sport 3) Not enough people care about America's Pastime 4) Its the first year of a tournament, so they're inexperienced 5) The Network is run by some of the dumbest f%#*ers on the planet

Reggie Bush’s family got peanuts in comparison to the current NIL deals.

I don't have statistics, but the Pac 12 Network is trying to make a dime off of EVERYTHING. The universities should just eliminate the network as it is and instead recognize that the only way to get the brand out there is to advertise it. Give the feed away cheap. Make it part of every basic cable/satellite/streaming subscription. Broadcast our games across the country. Get people to watch.
Right now, it is really only appealing to the base audience of anyone in the region. That's it. With my basic subscriptions, I've always had the Big Ten network and the SEC. Maybe even the ACC. How can we compete if they are giving their stuff away?

I get 'stuff' wrong frequently.....I think I'm the only one on this board that has that 'problem'.

How can we compete if they are giving their stuff away? at this point they should just make it streaming and go to straight up ad revenue and selling off individual broadcast rights of games cable wants. Probably lose some money at first but you get a lot more people that way

So, you’re plan is to give it away and make even less? Good plan. Question your honor: why are there so many Atlanta Brave fans? Think hard. Back in the 1980's I use to run into a lot of Braves & Cub fans.(I'm A Dodger fan BTW) My assumption was, they became fans of those teams because of TBS & WGN. Now days, who knows, TBS carries a MLB game once in awhile, but a MLB package(Extra Innings?) Is where you get every game.
