Really great to see that! There won't be a more battle tested team in the country there than us. All of those tough games and great wins AND 1 run losses in a row. They'll be ready.

Pac9 softball is a crazy tough league, but OSU under Berg has never finished higher than 6th, 70-140 (.333) in Pac9 play. Although this is the 4th year OSU has tallied (9) wins in Pac9 play. This is her 5th NCAA appearance in 10 years, but as stated all were 6th, 7th, 8th place Pac9 finishes. The 34 wins her first season is her best to date, although it could be matched/passed in this NCAA appearance. So, in many ways you could say the reputation of the Pac9 in softball has helped a .333 winning % program gained the postseason. But, I've never seen much "momentum" in this program. In fact many of the softball fans have been sort of frustrated in the 1 step forward, 2 steps back cycle. |

We have improved but need some more power. Pitching got sort of worn out I think. One pitcher was injured so we had 2 instead of three.
