When the pitcher bobbled the possible DP ball and BAAAARELY got the one out a first, that sort of started things going down hill. But if we weren't gonna score anyway.....

Beavs had a double play vs UT...Commentators said it was our 6th DP of they year...Are DBs far less frequent in SB than in BB? 6 seems super low DB’s are frequent in all walks of life. |

Tough to turn a the back end of a relay for a DP on 60-foot bases. yup that explains it Can't tell if you're serious or sarcastic, so I check out the numbers. There are nine Pac-12 softball teams. They combined to ground into 51 DPs this season. That's an average of 5.55 per team. It's hard to turn a DP in softball. A big reason for that is the 60-foot distance between the bases, which makes it very easy for the batter to beat the relay throw to first. Pac-12 GIDP

Tennesse is pretty good - I know the odds aren't in our favor, but these women have been through a lot this year. I'm hoping for a big surprise.
