We’ll probably win the first game, have a late lead in game 2 and lose on a walk-off HR. That would be somehow fitting for this crazy season. Beavs up 3-0 after 4. Now up 4-0. One out, runners on 2nd and 3rd, top of 5th. Hammoudi up and they’re intentionally walking her to load the bases. |

Beavers have a lot to look forward to with a young roster, but losing Mazon will leave an enormous hole, both in the circle and at the plate.
Having her healthy now and able to bat is huge for the Beavers right now. Who knows about the second game (assuming this one is a win), but they are showing how good they really are in this regional.
And BTW, all seven of the Pac-12 teams made regional championships, even though a few are in OSU's situation having to win two to advance. Pretty good.
