Eisert sent back to AAA today, sometimes it’s a cold blooded business. He was there, can’t take that away

In 2011, the rotation was supposed to be Sam Gaviglio, Ben Wetzler, and Cam Booser. Josh Osich was supposed to be the fourth starter. Scott Schultz was supposed to be fifth. Booser threw 4.2 innings against Fresno, giving up two runs, the second to a freshman Aaron Judge, and leaving with a 2-0 deficit. The bullpen did its job, but the offense did not, losing 2-1. Booser picked up the loss. Booser started one week later against Indiana and gave up another two before being yanked in the fourth. It is unclear to me whether Booser was hurt or if he was pulled for another reason, but Schultz started the fourth. Booser was hurt and missed more than a month before appearing out of the bullpen, allowing two inherited runners to score before allowing another three runs to score in a third of an inning in the 12-run inning in the 18-0 loss to Arizona. Booser came on one month later to face one lefty against UCLA, but walked him. Booser was pulled in favor of the closer Tony Bryant, who closed out the game, a 5-2 loss. Six days later, Booser came on against Cal, pitching his way out of runners on the corners. The first hitter in the eighth singled, and Booser was pulled in favor of Schultz, who allowed that runner and a second runner to score in a 6-2 loss. Booser disappeared again for about a month. Oregon State had some pitching injuries over the final five weeks, which made the Beavs rely more on lesser-used pitchers. So, after Sam Gaviglio got shelled in Game One of the Nashville Super Regional, Booser came on in the sixth, Vandy up 9-0 to pitch against arguably the Dores' two best hitters in Mike Yastrzemski and Jason Esposito. Booser got Yastrzemski to fly out, but Esposito homered to put Vandy up 11-0. Booser pitched to the next seven hitters in the order without incident before making way for James Nygren. The offense did almost nothing against Sonny Gray, getting only one run on four hits. 11-1 the final. Booser had Tommy John surgery after the 2011 season and never pitched again for Oregon State, transferring out to Central Arizona Community College.

Boston just sent Booser back to triple-A. Easy trip to Worchester.

It is cool to see Hjerpe strikeout Auburn's Blake Rambusch in the third. Rambusch could not do anything against Oregon State (0/12) in the 2022 Super Regional either. If only the rest of Auburn could have hit like Rambusch...............

Eisert back to Toronto. He gave up 3 er in 2.67 innings. He came in after Toronto's starter only got two outs. He was hurt a bit after getting one out in the fourth, two runners on, and his replacement let both runners score. Rutschman did not play.
