That triple double came against Carondelet which, IIRC, is coached by Donovyn’s Cal Stars coach Kelly Sopak.
Interested to see how they perform against Incarnate Word. They’re ranked No. 1 by MaxPreps and No. 24 by ESPN.

Not very tough competition in the game referenced above but you get to see Donovyn's skill set . Her team, South Medford is impressive, with several freshman, their passing and ball movement are fun to watch.

The Incarnate Word Academy (St. Louis, MO) varsity basketball team won Saturday's game against South Medford by a score of 68-46.
This game is a part of the "Nike 'Iolani Classic - Nike 'Iolani Classic" tournament.

Not very tough competition in the game referenced above but you get to see Donovyn's skill set . Her team, South Medford is impressive, with several freshman, their passing and ball movement are fun to watch. Based on that video, Donovyn will have to adjust to a very different system at Oregon State. It doesn’t look like they play position defense at all. Their pace almost seems frantic, with constant pressure. Even South Medford had a load of turnovers. I love Donovyn’s athleticism though… a very smooth player. |

I only watched about 10 minutes worth last night. I missed the 1st Q entirely, which ended with a South Medford lead. Their opponent was dazzling (duh...#1 in nation). South Medford (in my brief viewing) was too often reduced to jacking up NBA distance 3's, many of which - including some by Hunter - were airballs. Great experience for them as a team, and individually. |

3rd quarter of the first round game against Konawaena the commentator said, after she made a three "note how Donowyns shot rotates side to side vs front to back, something she may have to work on in college". I've never heard that before about any player. It was around 2:30 left in the 3rd FYI

So anyone local can watch Donovyn play in person. South Medford is playing at Crescent Valley on Saturday Dec 17th @ 12:30.
I'm a Raider girls basketball mom - so GO Raiders.
