If she turns out as good as our last home-grown WBB player/current assistant named Hunter, I'll be very content.

Is she a top 50 recruit or a 4/5 star? I’ve read some great things about her. But I couldn’t find any actual rankings Not ranked but nice off the bench player. What a annoying post. And you think that because? Have you seen her play? I didn't think so.

So is she a wing, a point guard, or a wing who will be forced to play some point guard at OSU? (a familiar theme under CR.)

Based upon her ball handling in the video and her assist numbers from high school, I think she stands a good chance of being able to play point guard. And she’s a definite scoring threat.

I'm guessing that right now Coach's biggest concern is that next year she has an impressive senior season, that her legs looks like they're 100% and that her knee injuries are tucked away in the history books....
THEN, if she's ready to go, his first choice will be to put her on the point....
Basically, beavsteve, in the post directly above this one, said it very well - so I'll ride with that....
I have a feeling that at this time next year we're going to be more impressed with her than we are right now.... GO BEAVS!!

Top 60 Prospects In The Class Of 2023 Compiled By Bret McCormick. I'm unaware of who Bret McCormick is (he's apparently the scouting director for "All-Star Girls Report"). He has Donovyn in his Top 60 (albeit, at 59th).

Aleah was a pretty nice “off the bench” player her first 2 1/2 seasons.

Not ranked but nice off the bench player. What a annoying post. And you think that because? Have you seen her play? I didn't think so. It’s “an” annoying post. BTW this is what my son calls a “dub”. She’s the real deal and if she stays free of injury she’ll be an impact player/starter at point. Just watch.

I would assume that the early injuries would have impacted her ranking. Not playing her freshman year ( I imagine that was the case) means that, basically, nobody knows you starting your sophomore year. Hard to work your way up the lists when everybody has a huge head start on you.
In any event, it's a good start to 2023. Her peers in that class certainly know who she is, and her early commitment tells others considering us that we're still going to be bringing talented players to Corvallis every year.

Donovyn put up some great assists numbers playing point guard for Cal Stars on the EYBL circuit. She’s showed major growth in the past year or so.

I'm a big fan of Donovyn's. She was looking strong in middle school and then came the ACL. She bounced back really well last year and is on track for a good senior season. If everything plays out as it should, we should expect a nice career at Oregon State.
