Well there’s always the guys in the big league Madrigal, Kwan, Boyd plus Adley who’s in some sort of purgatory (between AAA and Majors......that Oriole organization is WTF are they doing to him). As of this morning, the Orioles' GM, Mike Elias, said that Rutschman is still rehabbing in Sarasota (good work, if you can get it). However, Elias said that Rutschman would start playing at Norfolk "very soon" and that he would only be in Norfolk "a short period."

Small nit pick. How about Beav Alums instead of "Ex-Beavs" or former Beavs. My OCD I guess, please don't hold it against me. Was Conforto mentioned in this thread, I didn't see it if so and thought I read something in the last day or two a Pro Baseball league franchise was making a run for his services. The Long Island Ducks? Conforto turned down $120 million from the Mets and rejected the qualifying offer. His value will shoot way up in July, when he is not subject to the draft pick forfeiture penalties for signing him. Last I heard, though, he was still rehabbing. Scott Boras really screwed things up for Conforto. If you really must name your team after a migratory game bird, Drakes is a much more refined and appealing option IMHO

"Drakes" would be assuming the gender of the players. Not PC.

Not sure about the Rangers however...... Go Beavs!! Good catch on the Padres. I guess my bias made me overlook it. Rangers has several definitions, but one of them clearly states "a member of a body of armed men." These days, though, it's easy to conceive as a ranger being a woman, so yeah, you're probably right. I debated before adding it. Others are similar, like 49ers. Probably mostly men, but not necessarily so.

Should the OSU Beavers be on the list as there are a couple of ways to interpret this.....I’m getting a bit tired of how far we are going to let this go on

My post was to point out that absolutely nothing is going on. These names aren't going to change and no one is asking them to be changed.

Buffalo Bills Dallas Cowboys KC Chiefs LA Rams Atlanta Braves Texas Rangers Milwaukie Bucks Washington Wizards Sacramento Kings The famous female Crow chief, Bíawacheeitchish, does not approve of you including Chiefs as male only. Native American chiefs could be both male and female. Braves similarly can be both male and female. There are female Texas Rangers. The Braves actually came about in an interesting way. They were named after the symbol of Tammany Hall. Tamanend was the Chief of the Turtle Clan of the Lenni-Lenape, who signed the Peace Treaty with William Penn. The Sons of St. Tammany were organized from Georgia to Rhode Island as an anti-British (and pro-American) organization. The best known Tammany Hall was the one in New York, which had a white marble statue of Tamanend. Tamanend now appears on a lot of stuff associated with Tammany Hall, like the New York Monument at Gettysburg.

Perhaps that was for her particular tribe in Oklahoma. (drinking so I've forgotten which) But yeah, the Native Americans gave a lot of power to women.

It would be nice to turn this into a sub of this board...kinda like the recruiting part. Then it wouldn't get demoted through time.
(Time to hang up my keyboard. Not expressing myself well. Hope you get the point.)

He was 1/2 with a double in his second at bat and subsequently scored on an infield single. He walked in his third plate appearance. He was pulled after catching five innings. Rutschman had a throwing error trying to throw out Casey Martin (Arkansas '20) at second.

Wetzler is no longer with Iowa. I can't find him on any roster anywhere. Stefen Romero is with the Oklahoma City Dodgers. Romero started the year hurt. He played in his first game for Oklahoma City today, going 1/3 with a walk.
