Yes. I have avoided harping on the whole DS issue, but heard from a few close to the program that it was most definitely Rueck's fault, or at least he had a major part in it, much more than most OSU fans ever believed.
I've wondered since about the direction of the program under Rueck and how his players view him as a coach.
I believe the portal has just made it all the easier for those who no longer believe in the Rueck Way to bail and I believe Rueck is the main reason most of them have/will leave.
I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and I'm still hopeful that he can overcome this and build a solid roster for next season, but at this point it's become difficult to have a lot of faith.

Tough loss!! TJ did not look happy playing this year, same as KB (except for the game winning bucket vs. USC). I know that not everyone can love the game as much as Ellie Mack, but she's a great role model.
I think it was against Pacific (might have been CS Bakersfield), but I saw Taylor "snap" at one of the younger players. Didn't think much of it at the time because we have no idea of their interactions while playing, but it seems to have portended more than I thought.

Taylor is a horrible loss - plain and simple.
Maybe it is best after all to just recruit the west and forget about these top-ranked players who just end up leaving anyway. I have my doubts that the departures are over, and I really hope I'm wrong.
Sorry, but after this multi-day bloodbath, next year does not look good. No depth, little experience, tons of question marks - take your pick. Even if we do well in the portal, the new players will need time (maybe the season) to adjust (think Ellie Mack).

No player can be bigger than the team no matter how good she/he is. Same goes for coaches  |

Sort of explains the up and down play the last couple of years. Players not being happy will have a negative impact whether they speak up or not. Losing players is never good. Losing multiple players is an issue. It isn't like the players were loking for more playing time. They had a lot of playing time. So, it is easy to deduct there was issues inside the program. Also it doesn't help the situation when people criticize the players who decided to transfer. Recruits more than likely look at message boards.

Agreed about not dumping on players who decide to take their talents elsewhere. As has been said, who knows their situations?
One poster called KB a "mid-major" player after she entered the portal and another (on this thread) called TJ a "good" player after she did the same.
Really? I mean, really? Those assessments are just plain silly.
