I am more comfortable with Brown on the mound in the 9th since he did well in the 8th. Can’t trust Carpenter and Verburg. Bad decision for not let Brown start in the 9th.

Not a great part of our lineup either. McDowell has always been a strike out machine in pressure situations. Guerra has a good shot to get on and Smith is good. Dernedde isn't the best bat this year. Need to stop making predictions. |

That is true, the bats went to sleep for sure, the ASU pitcher was good but between blue and lack of hitting it was ugly. |
