Mason won't keep the job if he commits errors. Beavs have always put defense first. He'll get another chance to prove himself I am sure.

He had been very good at Goss. A bit of a different deal fielding on real grass and dirt.

He had been very good at Goss. A bit of a different deal fielding on real grass and dirt. FWIW, his first error on Saturday came on the throw. Nothing to do at all with the playing surface. |
