That puts Arizona up to 7, taking the PAC 12 lead over Colorado and Washington. Well Adia is hoping to bring in that many or more...so... You know she be cherry picking as many fast women as she can.plus has to replace Reese which will be hard.

Seems she has been there for ever. She just wants to give us fits one more time……ha wish Taya had the same attitude Reese has for her school? This is puzzling all the love beaver nation gave to Taya…. Hurts

Personally, I'd be surprised if Rueck went after Yeaney. She's an athletic slasher w/o much of a 3-point shot.... On the other hand, she's physical, she's fast and she knows how to pressure the ball on D. I have a feeling, however, that her offensive game would drive Coach crazy. Alongside Talia she'd look like The Roadrunner......Kinda.🤠
On the other hand, Rueck might find himself in a situation where he simply can't be all that choosy... He's gotta find some good players somewhere, and if he can't find 'em, he will have to settle for not-as-good - it's that simple.... Right now, from what I've seen posted on this board, I think the kid from Stanford is the best fit for the Beavs - but she won't help as far as speed goes, and speed is definitely a top priority for this roster. GO BEAVS!!

After UA won at Gill with the last second shot, I did notice that Yeaney and SR gave each other hugs in the high five line after the game, so there's a little bit of a relationship there. The transfer portal this year is FUBAR!

Doing a look through twitter tonight. Here's some of the players we've talked about in this thread that Jenny H is following: Lauren Fields (Oklahoma State) Taylor Bigby (Oregon) Jonas follows as well Dre'una Edwards (Kentucky-Utah) Kemery Martin (Utah) also followed by Scott&Jonas from her High School recruitment Aronette Vonleh (Arizona) Anaya Peoples (Notre Dame) Morgan Jones (Florida State)
The following players are being followed by Jenny, and they are following her back: Alisa Pili (USC) Treasure Hunt (Kentucky) I might add that both Jenny and Jonas are following her Mom as well, but I believe that has more to do with her Mom's role in being the Coach of FBCunited(Hunt) and not the result of interest in recruiting Treasure. I believe Savanah Samuel spent part of her time playing for FBCunitedhunt. Kayla Williams (UC Irvine)--I'd like what I see from Kayla. I wish her shooting percentages were a bit better, but she gets to the ft line! Her and Talia would be a tough backcourt to handle.
Social media doesn't give us all the answers, and certainly doesn't mean the Beavers are serious, or not serious, about the above menti0ned players or many other players in the portal, but it does often let us know when feelers are being tossed out. I'm looking forward to seeing who the Beavs do land as we should be expecting quite a few additions this summer. Keep in mind also that some of the 'follows' on twitter were from when the player was originally recruited out of High School. Kemery Martin would be a good example of this.

27 pages of posts on this topic in one month. In the off-season. If nothing else, the transfer portal creates substantial additional interest during the off-season.

This is puzzling all the love beaver nation gave to Taya…. Hurts Reese did not take a redshirt year, so she's only been there four years. Corosdale did, and has been at OSU for five full years. Can't blame her at all for finding a new place for her sixth year.

Henry,
I am interested in your thoughts about the following:
I believe that there will be a significant decline in interest/attendance for many college sports events (i.e. men's and women's basketball and football) if the trend toward players being at a particular institution for shorter periods of time (one or two years) continues.
My thought is that while the pro sports can survive this because (a) they have the best talent in the world and (b) they have procedures in place to make competition among all their members much more even than the college situations where mainly a few "fat cats" do most of the winning.
On the other hand for many of the college fans (i.e. OSU womens basketball fans) a great deal of the enjoyment comes from following the individual players. The fact is that most college teams will never win the NCAA championship (OSU likely being an example). That enjoyment is going to be greatly diminished with the current conditions.
As usual, I am sure that I have gone "off the rails" somewhere here and look forward to your straightening me out!

rmancarl , was hoping to see Brynna Maxwell on your list ): I like Brynna myself. She is being followed by Jonas, but that is it on Oregon State's end, and I don't think there was a follow back. Jonas following her might be from her HS recruitment days. I was also surprised that none of the coaches were following Jordyn Jenkins. She had a great year last year. I didn't mention Jana Van Gytenbeek, but both Jenny and Jonas are following her. I don't think there is a follow back though. Jana is also being followed by Donovyn Hunter, Timea Gardiner (and her Mom), Talia, AJ, and Adlee Blacklock's father. I think their Dad's know each other, and I'm guessing it is through AAU ball. I'm sure there are a lot of players the Beavs are pursing that we know nothing about and just because players/coaches are, or are not, following each other on social media certainly doesn't mean there is, or isn't interest on one side or both.

rmancarl, thanks for the update. Can't believe I forgot about Jordyn Jenkins and Dalayah Daniels!!! Hopefully there is communication with these 2 PAC-12 players. Nice to know that Jana Van Gytenbeek has so many connections with OSU players/families.

When did we hear last year about transfers, was it much later? I sure hope it is soon, OSU baseball and softball, and Jade Carey are keeping my interest in the meantime, but WBB is king (or queen) for me.
Do we know if these two have OSU interest:

Do we know if these two have OSU interest: /photo/1 I looked this up earlier this week. OSU announced Tea on April 14th (the same day AJ signed her LOI) and Emily was announced on May 3rd. As for these two, I have no idea. I'm intrigued with them. They have such a large social media presence, I wonder if SR would think that is a negative or a positive for his team culture.
