My thoughts on the last 3 years are if the girl who is 6’9 from Paraguay would have been playing the last three years with the other posts we’d be a top 10 team. We also lost a good point and wing in that time period that was supposed to shore up our depth. Slocom and Goforth. This hurt us a lot. The big girl really cost us in more ways then one. Cuz we lost her scholarship to help us. Not a problem she’s a wonderful person. But you’d think there was a way to pay her education without losing the scholarship

Stanford coach has athletes that are good shooters and tall. They have got inside strength and a tweener girl that’s a wing post in Jones. They are a hard team to match up with. That why Arizona frustrates Stanford because Stanford has a hard time matching Arizona’s speed. Things to be wary of. They have a lock down defender in Wilson. They will guard whoever gets hot on our perimeter. They will use her to stifle whoever is at point. They can get us transitionally or 3 point land. Which they will use to move our bigs out far enough to then hurt us inside. This will be a coaching nite mare for Rueck. Our defense tends to be limited because of there overall speed. SO, we need to slow them down enough and at the same time put enough points in the bucket to be in the game at the end to beat them. Go beavs Say we need 65 + to win. This is my scouting report 27 points at half. Doesn’t look like we’re going to get there.

Anyone have any insight on what’s up w Brown? Just looks listless and stiff out there. Mitrovic isn’t exactly dazzling anyone tonight but still looks much better than KB.

Why can’t Scott teach how to fake shoot then shoot?? It will avoid get shot blocked. Many of shot got blocked tonight. Need to make fake shot then shoot.

Looks to be more a confidence issue. She acts like she thinks she doesn't belong on the same court. Very listless overall for a home performance against a team that should fire you up!

Seems like that’s typically her demeanor. She hasn’t been the fluid athlete I thought she might be at 6’6” (especially when she’s next to Brink).

Rueck never got to 15 scholarships so we didn't lose anything. Besides that, it really shows what kind of program OSU has in women's basketball. And just as importantly, Andrea was always there. To me she did all that was able to do. And as Rueck said, "it was the right thing to do".

That was SR’s choice to carry less than 15. It came back to bite him in some ways.

AA got a medical scholarship when it was determined she had a career-ending injury. She would not have cost us a scholarship even had we wanted to have 15 players on scholly.

Scott’s teams have never used the full 15. Therefore, Andrea’s scholarship did not hurt the team in any way, shape or form.

It’s certainly not an objective fact.

But if we had an open scholarship the entire time, what does Aquino being on scholarship have to do with anything? It’s not like Scott was searching for a scholarship and couldn’t find one because Aquino was using it. You seem to have brought this up the past one or two seasons, but it doesn’t make much sense.
