24 hrs before game time, a few Monmouth facts:
4-3 record.
Beat Navy & Dartmouth (both with RPI's >300). Lost to Providence (RPI, low 200's).
Their leading rebounder to date is Clark (a 5'4" grad student) at 7/gm. Clark also leads them in Minutes played (32/gm), Assists (3.4/gm), Turnovers (4.3/gm) and points (9/gm). She shoots .303 from the field (.257 from '3').
As a team: Assists 73, TO 131. PPG = 53; giving up an average of 56.

5'4" nabbing 7 rebounds per game is actually quite impressive but says a lot about their team. Looks like everything goes through her. Put Greta on her and we will see how far along she really is as a defender.

Dec 5 NET rankings has Monmouth at #273. Oregon State is #85.

They got annihilated by both Syracuse and Providence, neither particularly good teams. If Beavs don't win handily, something is seriously wrong.

They have 10 players under 6 feet, and most of those are 5'8" or less. Seven rebounds per game could account for 1/3 of the team total.

Also the game will be shown on ESPN3....If you have Comcast-xfinity1 TV service---espn3 is included in your service however you need the latest box to get the espn streaming apps.....click on xfinity on your remote then go to "on demand" then scroll to sports and find a current event streaming on espn3....click on it and if it plays you are all set....otherwise it will give you the option to upgrade to the latest box no charge or you can exchange your box at your local xfinity store for no charge. Alternatively if you have xfinity x-fi internet espn3 will stream live (I just tested it and it worked) but you may have to have the latest xfinity modem which is the white box shaped modem....I'm not sure if it will stream on the older flatter black modems.

Thanks JB, very thorough, I watch ESPN3 off their website, but I have a subscription to ESPN + so...not sure if that is needed. |

I have comcast and one of those remotes that you talk to. If I simply tell it ESPN3, a screen comes up with 3 little dots blinking (Tech people just love little blinking dots.) It prompts you to read some privacy nonsense, but that's a fool's errand - it takes you to a screen from which there is no return. Just let the little dots do their thing for 10 or 20 seconds, and then boxes will magically appear showing content to be shown. One of those is OSU - Monmouth. |

I don't think it's 'good'. Programing for early afternoon today that's listed for ESPN3 (on their website) doesn't match what I'm finding here. |
