Go Beavs! It's a chance to finish strong and build momentum for next year for players and coaches.

Just a quick scan of the stats it kind of looks like Dallas B might be the toughest in the Regional.
90 HR with one kid hitting 19 HR
Hamel their #1 has 123 SO

So, I guess we are deserving of postseason. So many here said we were not, glad the NCAA doesn't monitor this site.

In the post season, one or two hot pitchers can change the bracket. We have the talent to go 3-0 or 2 and Q, I think it is all about pitching.

How did Michigan get in with an 88 RPI? Baylor & Pitt have to be pissed.

I'd rather be in this bracket than Zero's.

Dallas B will likely be throwing their ace pitcher (Hamel) at us....but I like our chances with the Abel we saw last game. Claunch is the batter I expected at the end of the season so he’s a big plus....win the first game.....

Just a quick scan of the stats it kind of looks like Dallas B might be the toughest in the Regional. 90 HR with one kid hitting 19 HR Hamel their #1 has 123 SO Jackson Glenn, the second baseman, has 19 home runs and was the Missouri Valley Player of the Year. Glenn has 19 home runs, but 15 came at Dallas. The other four were hit in Carbondale: one in the series against Southern Illinois and three in the Missouri Valley Tournament in Carbondale. Dominic Hamel has been their ace. Hamel has allowed 12 home runs on the year. It is tough to figure out Dallas Baptist's stats, because of their stadium. Plus, Hamel has pitched in three games in the past 11 days (including part of the 10th yesterday), though. Rhett Kouba earned Missouri Valley first team honors over Hamel (second team) and has not pitched since Thursday. He may get the start against Oregon State to give Hamel some time to rest up. Luke Eldred is the Sunday starter. All three are right-handed. TCU is better than Dallas Baptist.

How did Michigan get in with an 88 RPI? Baylor & Pitt have to be pissed. The Big Ten played an all-Big Ten schedule. RPI is meaningless without nonconference opponents. If I were Indiana or Iowa, I would be pissed.

Covid 2021 has been a difficult year for everyone associated with college baseball and I mean EVERYBODY, including the selection committee.

We can hit our way out of a paper bag now. I think our starting 8 are the guys that finished the season at Furd, and that eliminated a ton of strike outs and 5 for 75 hitters. Maybe in the hot air we can generate a few home runs, but our defense is going to have to play the way they finished the season too. I like how our starters are throwing, but the bullpen will be the tale of the tape for us in the distance we travel into the playoffs. I'd love to come out of the regional and have the lesser seeded #2 or the #3 win out so we find ourselves hosting a super. They ought to be able to go 50% at Goss by then.

If I were Indiana or Iowa, I would be pissed. Michigan still had a lot of wins against the conference’s bottom feeders. Still don’t think they should have gotten in.
