On the mound for Stanford: Senior Brendan Beck: 0.97 WHIP (0.91 in PAC). Batting average against .196 (.197 in PAC).
Since April 1, he's averaged over 7 innings per start.
Work is cut-out for Beav bats.
The only 'good' news: Beck lost his last start. Oh, that was an outing v. tsdtr in which he pitched 8 innings and allowed 4 hits. Sh*&t !!

Good Abel finished off Tawa to end the inning.
The 0-1 curveball and the strikeout curve were both beautiful pitches.
