Well, we got out of the 8th without giving up a run. So based on your logic, Mitch did the right thing leaving Mully in for the 9th since he got us out of the jam. But now we’re tied in the 10th, so was that the right decision? The right decision would have been to send Forrester home from third. Thanks for the non sequitur. |

Beavs just can’t seem to get past the good teams....they’re right there for the taking but somehow some way they end up muffing it.....this one and game 3 against the Ucks are prime example of what not to do....dang dam f**** hard to take

Or had a pinch runner for Forrester and sent him home. MB. Forrester isn't that slow he just had a triple. Sure, but he barely beat a throw that was way offline. Just saying  |

Brutal to watch the late inning meltdowns. So why was Forrester not sent? Are we playing to win, or playing it safe? And yes, there were other things that contributed to this loss besides the decision to send him. So frustrating.

One poor coaching decision after another and I don't know which one was the worst! Probably not bunting your 9 hitter with a runner on 2nd no outs. We are getting beat by bad coaching. This one hurts as did the ucks and UCI. I feel if that good correct coaching decisions were made that we would have won most of those games. Just very disappointing.

That was a Major Leaque F&*k Up. Who ever held Forrester at third was nuts. This team lacks mental toughness. My wife and I were saying Washburn was mentally fired at the end of the inning. I have tried to restrain myself from bitching about the Pitching Coach but something is wrong. We chocked with the game in the Bag! Ok, I'm done, but damn that was truly pathetic!

For all the blame on the coaching, players need to get the job done. Yes, Forrester didn't go, but the sac fly opportunity would still be on had Casey looked ahead when running. And was it a sure thing Forrester would score? If not, then we would be complaining on why Canham sent him. But ultimately, Mulholland on the mound with a 4 run lead, that should be automatic. That run in the top of the ninth should have broke the backs and ended any hope for a UCLA rally.

Mitch was the third base coach on that fly ball. This is on him!! Casey was doing exactly what he should have, going to third base, because, G should have gone home. This whole game is on Mitch!!😡 Pulling a kid, who is mowing them down, for our supposed, All-American closer, who has not performed well all season. Shave off that beard, and be Mully again.
This, and 5-6 other losses are on Mitch. I think he is over his head. So many missed opportunities, just unreal coaching decisions. Spare me the, he knows baseball, because he played. He is making little league mistakes. I can’t believe, Pat endorsed this guy. Yes, I’m upset, our hard earned dollars, that we donate to the program, we expect better. It’s just a game, played by kids, but dog gone it, coaches should be better than that.
