Molly Miller was 180-17 as the Head Coach at her alma mater, Division II Drury U in Springfield, Mo., the winningest coach in all of college coaching. She was 67-1 the last 2 years before she came last year to Grand Canyon where she was 18-7. Former Beaver women's assistant, Greg Gotlieb, is her Director of Strategies and Player Development.

Gottlieb was an assistant for the men's team, not the women. I would be pleasantly surprised if Molly Miller had any interest in becoming an assistant coach given her success as a head coach. I believe she was one of the top candidates for the Baylor WBB job, so if she continues to have success at Grand Canyon she will likely move up the coaching ranks rather quickly.

I’ve noticed that recently Jonas has been liking tweets of Molly Miller’s, who is the head coach of the GCU women’s basketball program. I saw somewhere online that she (at one point) had the best active winning percentage in the country among male and female coaches. Could the beavs be after her for an assistant coaching position? There’s nothing I’ve seen to indicate that she could be lured away from GCU. She seems happy and scored that head coaching job at the start of 2020. Just some food for thought! I'd bet all of Werebeaver 's money that a head coach at another D1 program would never voluntarily leave that job to be an assistant at another D1 program.

I don't know if Molly Miller is a candidate for the open position at OSU or not, but I do know that the Beavs have had a good relationship with Grand Canyon U, and there has been a lot of social media contact in the past, so the likes from Jonas may just be normal contact.

I figured it would be unlikely, but thought I would bring it up in case anyone thought differently. Should would definitely make a great candidate.

Just watched the Virtual Beaver State Tour which included SR, a fan asked "what about the coaching positions", Mike Parker added "given the national reputation of the program I imagine there is a lot of interest...", SR replied (paraphrasing), "I am working on it full time right now", "We're not there yet, but close"

Kortney Dunbar has now started following beaverwbb on twitter. This doesn't mean a lot, because she is looking for a coaching job, and not just at Oregon State (she is looking at other schools as well). It's only worth mentioning in that she started following JC and SR a few days ago, but only started following beaverwbb the last day or so, and it's worth mentioning that she only follows 72 twitter accounts. She has over 12k followers. If she is to become an assistant, I would expect those numbers she follows to jump as she adds a lot of High School players to her list. Kortney Dunbar stopped following SR and beaverwbb 2-3 weeks ago, and then started following SR again today. Does this mean anything regarding the Beavs coaching hunt? My guess would be no, but until we have real news to talk about, I thought I would throw it out there. I'm looking forward to the real news.
