Nice throw by Preston, but did he really get the runner at home? Don’t think so. Front foot slid over the plate and hit back side after the tags. Two assists from PJ on bad slides. |

I think that's the 2nd hardest ball I've ever seen hit at the college level. That made his other bomb look pedestrian.

I think that's the 2nd hardest ball I've ever seen hit at the college level. That made his other bomb look pedestrian. It was a blast, but Elsbury's shot almost across Washington St. Conforto's bomb at PK Park, the Georgia kid's shot at Old Civic in Portland that almost hit the Oregonian building on the fly, and Adley's shot into the night straight over the 30 ft tall batters eye at UCLA all were a level above that. |
