1+ 0 = 1 There’s no compounding the loss here. We’re two guards down, end of story. Sasha obviously has more upside than Jasmine, so I’m not sure what you’re getting at here. And if we lose Noele Mannen we’ll be three guards down. |

Well, anyone see this horrrrrrrrible news coming? How many McDonald's All Americans (who started on the team all year as well) leave a good team with a big upside?  This is nothing short of a major disaster. OSU will NOT come anywhere even close to making up for this loss by going to the transfer portal. SMH SMH SMH. |

This is about as bad of news as the Beavs could get. Makes it even worse that the Beavs lost top quality players two years in a row. Recruits are probably wondering what is going on. Transfer portal....need help! So many players are leaving so many schools, I don't think potential recruits can even try to dig into what is happening. Maryland has been losing transfers for years and just replacing them w/ more big recruits. It definitely hurts losing Goforth, but I don't know that it's going to effect future recruiting...at all. |

I don't know if she was a McD AA, but Diamond Johnson had a huge Fr. year at Rutgers and has entered the portal. I'd say that's comparable.
edit--Johnson was the #6 ranked recruit according to ESPN, she was a 5 star. From Philly, so she wasn't all that far from home.

In the class of 2020 alone a McDonald's all-American and two Jordan Brand Classic all-Americans have already left. In the class of 2019 Kierstan Bell, Jaden Owens, and Nyah Green all transferred, plus Maori Davenport who was only not one because she was ineligible her senior season. In the class of 2018 McKenzie Forbes, Elizabeth Dixon, Elizabeth Balogun, Sedona Prince, and Jordan Nixon transferred after one season. Including Jordan Brand Classic and McDonald's All-Americans, 4-5 have transferred each year since 2018. |
