Maybe Mark Campbell? UW is a good job with a strong recruiting base.

That's too bad, I liked her as a coach.

That's too bad, I liked her as a coach. Had a terrible record over 4 years, appallingly bad in conference. The program was going nowhere under her guidance.

Maybe Mark Campbell? UW is a good job with a strong recruiting base. It SHOULD be a good job, but they've had the hardest time either 1) finding a good coach or 2) keeping a coach if they were successful. I'm not sure why it hasn't been considered a more desirable position than it is. And while there is lots of local HS talent, UW has not had much success keeping them home going back thru quite a few different coaching staffs.

Always looking the other direction - UW is all in on Football and hamstrings the other sports ! This is, of course, a good internal strategy - but , not a message you want seeping into other programs and non football athletes !

My thoughts on her would be-
Has her team been bailing on her (no).
Has her team been graduating (yes).
Has her teams record improved (slowly, but yes except in the year of the covid).
Has there been any bad press about stuff going on on the team (no).
I think the AD is being silly and UW is in for more rough years ahead.

Maybe Mark Campbell? UW is a good job with a strong recruiting base. There is a lot of WBB talent in the state of Washington that Oregon state has been very successful landing in Rueck’s tenure: Jamie Taya Mikayla Talia If UW ever got a coach up there who could win the in-state recruiting battles they could become much more formidable.

This is, of course, a good internal strategy - but , not a message you want seeping into other programs and non football athletes ! Not sure what you're looking at. Overall UW has a very strong women's athletics program. Volleyball and softball are both top notch. Men's and women's crew have a long proud tradition. I don't really follow it but I've heard they have an excellent husband and wife team leading the track program that is quickly building momentum. Football may be king, as it is as many schools, but that doesn't mean all their other sports programs are lacking.

There certainly haven't appeared to be any on or off court problems. I have been impressed that her teams have continued to play hard and stick together all during her tenure. But winning games is certainly one of the main goals, isn't it? There was infinitesimal progress from year 1 thru year 3, but then a step backward in year 4. 11 conference wins in 4 years is not remotely acceptable, anyone who says otherwise just wants to see them remain a bottom feeder. Look how quickly fellow Pac 12 coaches like Rueck, Graves and Barnes turned around their respective programs. There was absolutely no indication Wynn was ever going to get it going in a positive direction at UW.

Let's watch the transfer portal now, if they don't replace her with someone good, soon, there may be a mass exodus

Also will probably lose some of their commits from the '21 class. They had 5 ranked in the Top 100, although all on the bottom half of 100.

I don't think there's anybody like that there currently. Sadler had her moments and she could develop into a good guard. Miller has shown potential. Peterson and Van Dyke could probably be nice role players for better teams.
