Olson is a really good player. She’s long, skilled, and athletic — definitely one of the more complete guards. A better version of what Greta was at the high school level. With that said, she visited OSU back in January, but the timing made it rather clear that her visit to Oregon was the main event. Much like I said with Betts, it’s better to know now that to find out a year from now. It gives OSU pretty much an entire year to prioritize other guards in that class. I’d really like to see OSU land Fiso and a bigger guard/wing in that class. Am I wrong to think that the front runner is Notre Dame for Olson at this point. At least that is what I see from others. What is your take?

"Thanks, Wilner and Canzano for throwing crap against the wall."
I don't read Canzano, but Wilner is generally acknowledged as THE most knowledgeable sports writer anywhere on the Pac-12 break up, and its possible future options.
If you know someone who understands the situation better than Wilner, please let me know. Almost every college sports writer from Spokane to San Diego gets their info on this topic from Wilner's research and writing. GO BEAVS!!

I just can't stand I have a source who has a source routine.

beaverwbb fan....thanks for posting the reel on Ava Heiden.... Nice hands for a big girl, moves quickly and releases quickly....Two full years to develop before hitting university.... If her game keeps growing, so will her list of offers....
As I've written before, I'm always gun shy about evaluating from film - especially highlight reels.....But she certainly does pass the visual test.... The girls checking her in this footage had no clue how to deny the low post pass......Despite that, there's a lot to like about Ava Heiden.... GO BEAVS!!

Olivia Olson just committed to Michigan. That seems like a fairly monumental surprise.

nwhoopfan - -I agree this is a shot out of the Blue - so to speak.. Her Ivy League possibilities seem really hard to over look.... I have a feeling the Ellensburg paper might give the story some ink as Ellensburg produces so few top flight WBB players....
Amateur guess: her family knows someone on the coaching staff.... GO BEAVS!!

GO BEAVS!! You’re confusing Olivia Olson (a 2024 recruit from Minnesota) with Olivia Anderson (a 2023 recruit from Ellensburg HS). Olson is a fairly monumental grab for Michigan (No. 3 overall recruit) and probably could have gone to her choice of school from Stanford to UConn to South Carolina. She did visit both Oregon and Oregon State, but the timing suggested she was more interested in Oregon and OSU ultimately didn’t make her top-10. I assume Michigan will start recruiting really well. Really strong academics, strong brand, solid success recently, and a good coach.

YIIIKES!!!!! Thanks for the heads-up beaverwbb fan......Seems like I've been making more of those mistakes lately. Rather than chalk it up to loss of memory power, I'm going with there's more to remember....🤠 GO BEAVS!!

Rueck was in Wisconsin for 2024 Teagan Mallegni. I assume she’ll be a big target in that class.

/photo/1 This was the first night of their 'open' practices, and SR was there, so the interest must be pretty high for the Beavs.

She handles the ball like she was born with it. Outstanding court vision. A sharpshooter. Very, very impressive. She was born with one ball?

This appears to be for 2024 PG Shay Ijiwoye, currently ranked #56. Not sure if they have any other POI.
