I finally got around to updating the first page of 2024 recruits. No shortage of targets in that class -- eight confirmed offers (plus Heiden, Tac, and Fournier who very well may hold offers).
Of course 2023 isn't over yet and there will always be some movement with the transfer portal, but the 2024-25 roster currently has 10 players, so I think 3-4 recruits is likely for 2024 depending on those two things.
Would be nice to get one player from each category:
Point Guards/Combo Guards
- Delaney Gibb, Mikayla Blakes, Britt Prince, Katie Fiso
Shooting Guards/Wings
- Chloe Spreen, Olivia Olson, Jordan Lee, Morgan Cheli
Forwards
- Toby Fournier, Joyce Edwards, Ariana Roberson

I wonder if Britt is checking out OSU as well this weekend. If not, that would be telling on how well the Beavs recruitment of her is going.

Britt Prince seems to be the ideal PG for OSU WBB. Unfortunately, so many other schools feel the same. She has offers from many of the leading WCBB Programs. GO BEAVS! |

Yes, very impressive group that has visited so far.....Edwards, Olson, Prince, and ? slipping my mind right now. I guess the point would be that the Beavs are still thought highly enough of on the college stage that they are still getting top talent to check them out. Now, they need to keep landing a few and keeping them on campus. The 2023 class doesn't have the big names (yet), but I think Donovyn is better than her ranking and Kennedie looks like a solid pickup as well. I feel the coaches have some work to do, but I'd love to see them pick up a couple highly ranked 2024's.

What will be interesting is if the pac-12 dissolves how it will effect the other sports besides football.
I expect it to change to recruit more against Gonzaga and Fresno State at some point, that is if the conference dissolves.
Do you think Olson followed any of the conference shuffles and future rumors as it relates to Big 10, Big 12. Thanks, Wilner and Canzano for throwing crap against the wall.

Olson is a really good player. She’s long, skilled, and athletic — definitely one of the more complete guards. A better version of what Greta was at the high school level.
With that said, she visited OSU back in January, but the timing made it rather clear that her visit to Oregon was the main event. Much like I said with Betts, it’s better to know now that to find out a year from now. It gives OSU pretty much an entire year to prioritize other guards in that class. I’d really like to see OSU land Fiso and a bigger guard/wing in that class.
