Here's a start: contain Rogers and Pili, make our threes, limit turnovers. Any other thoughts before tip-off?

Pili ate us alive last year. Don't let her do that again. Actually our interior defense has been very good so far this year. Now to see how many three's they make. And yes, they are 2nd best at the three in the Pac-12 (shivers in fear).

Aaron from USC has been injured most of her career, but she's had a nice stretch of games recently.

I'd like to see Sasha fight through that screen a little harder. You can't give Rogers that much space. Our pick and roll is exposing Pili. She's definitely not at full strength.

18-14 most of the way thru Q1. Great start offensively for the Beavs. Had a decent lead but USC came charging back. D looking pretty porous again. Not sure they really want to get into a shootout. USC isn't Stanford but we saw OSU not being able to maintain that kind of pace for 4 quarters last time they played.

Just like they drew it up. Goodman let fly from about 50 feet and drained it at the buzzer. 21-16 thru Q1.

29-21 Beavs at Q2 media TO. Keeping Pili and Rogers under control so far. USC 3-10 behind the arc so that's acceptable. Jones and TvO leading the way w/ 7 apiece.
