Hey, this game is actually being shown live on the main Pac 12 channel! Amazing.
edit--I scrolled thru Friday's listings for Pac 12 Washington--nothing but repeats all day long. Cougs are hosting UCLA at midday and UW has USC in the evening, neither game is being broadcast. Just to let everybody know Pac 12 Washington is every bit as bad as Pac 12 Oregon has been this season. Absolutely pathetic.

Dang, Cougs take down UCLA, consistently good this year, in every game.

Dang, Cougs take down UCLA, consistently good this year, in every game. WSU controlled most of the 2nd half, but UCLA went on a big run and looked like they were gonna steal it. Then they gave it right back. I've given Cori Close some slack, but I saw no evidence she was doing any coaching today. UCLA's offense was abysmal and she just let them keep running around, disorganized, taking turns launching terrible shots.
Big bounce back game for Charlisse Leger-Walker after Stanford tormented her twice last week. She had 28 today.

Strange day in the Pac 12. Stanford tried real hard to blow a 23 point lead, got all the way down to 4, before they finally stabilized down the stretch. For some reason they just can't have an easy game against Colorado.
Cal had a lightly recruited high school player graduate early and just join them, she casually dropped 20 on Utah tonight and looked pretty good. Wasn't enough, but Cal didn't look as pathetic as usual. Yet again Kemery Martin looked a lot better than Brynna Maxwell. Brynna just likes playing against the Beavs.
Washington and USC are locked in an eyesore of an ugly game. Dawgs have been leading most of the way, but not by much.

UW led most of the way but couldn't hold on down the stretch. USC shot a ton of FTs in the 4th quarter and hit every single one of them.

nwhoopfan - - I appreciate your updates and overviews of the other Pac-12 games....I don't follow the games as closely this season as I usually do, so I'm always glad to see your informational tidbits....
Cal is a weird picture this season - they recruited 3 top h.s. prospects who are all now Frosh - - but they are all forwards (if my memory is correct)...If they can find a few guards to go with them, they might emerge as a surprise next year... I have no clue if their new coach can actually coach.... UW is a mess, as you have pointed out several times....USC, in my view, has 3 or 4 top line players but can't seem to get in sync with one another.... Barnes at Arizona is proving that she is skilled at winning over talented prospects (and their parents) - so she might have a rich talent pipeline every year, not just once in a while...
The Oregon-Arizona game on Monday will be interesting....I'm very intrigued to see if Graves can get all of his talent on the same page....That's it - I need more coffee. GO BEAVS!!

Cal has three guards out for the year. One played one game the other two none When kids can’t play especially travel their rankings go down. That’s the newbie at Cal

Well, that certainly helps to explain Cal's lack of guard play...Thanks for the info.... When things go right, a lot of good info gets communicated on this board..... GO BEAVS!!

. UW is a mess, as you have pointed out several times.... USC, in my view, has 3 or 4 top line players but can't seem to get in sync with one another....I think it might be the fault of the USC pg. She plays favorites. They had a freshman who was scoring really well to start the season along with playing excellent defense. But as the season wore on her point total dropped considerably. I watched games and it seemed that the pg would never pass her the ball even when she was open. She would look at her, see who it was and pull back. I have seen this sort of thing before where players freeze out teammates. In this case it was a teammate who was scoring at a good percentage as well. I can think of a couple reasons why she would do this.
