Arizona jumped out to a 10 point lead early but Oregon came storming back. Cats up 1 at the half.
In a #1 vs. #2 showdown South Carolina and UConn are having a bricklaying convention, 24-24 at the half.

Oregon is very underwhelming for all of their talent. Arizona managing a big lead with McDonald not shooting well is a surprise.

79-59 final Arizona wins. Cate Reese went off.
Oregon looks like they are totally in disarray. Hard to believe they looked as good as they did at the beginning of the year.

Paige Bueckers is scary good. Just had her 3rd straight 30 point game, pretty much carried UConn to the win by herself in OT over South Carolina. Unbelievably she's actually living up to the hype. May very well go down in the history books as the best ever at UConn. When the bar is set by players like Taurasi, Moore and Stewie, that's saying something.

I didn't watch the game, but Arizona shot over 50% and 60% from 3. You won't lose many shooting like that. On the other hand, Oregon shot 32.4% and 20% from 3. Can someone tell me, was it just one of those shooting games for the ducks, or was Arizona's offense that good?
I realize the Chavez didn't play tonight, but her and Shelly don't seem to be adding as significantly as expected this season. The ducks are spreading the minutes around though. It will be interesting to see if everyone returns next year.

Graves, after talking tuff a couple of games ago, is still trying to keep everyone happy with minutes. He needs to decide who he wants to be his starting 5 next year and go with it.

Oregon looked great early in the season because they were hot from 3 point range. Both Boley and Mikesell started hotter than a cheap pistol in a gun fight. They are both streak shooters and now they are cold. The Beaves, on the other hand, started cold and faced team who were hot.

This has no inside information and is just based on my feel of the other teams that have had shutdowns, based on the timing of when the shutdown was announced, I don't think we have any shot the Stanford game will be played. My hope is we are back and can play the Cal game on Sunday. I'd love to be wrong and get a chance to play Friday night. Fingers crossed. |

If a coach or admin tested positive and the players have all continued to test negative, then the chances are very likely that the game will be played. Same would be true if it was a single player. If it is multiple players, then I am sure the games this coming weekend would be at risk. Somebody swing by the practice facility and peek in the window this afternoon to see who is practicing. Then report back. |
