With men’s basketball so bad, women is my only hope to success. Now, both teams are disappointing. I can’t see the ladies in top 25 and go to the dance this season. Definitely a rebuilding year.

Maybe if we had a Pac-12 level PG. At least we’ll get Washington State after Oregon. While we certainly have a Pac-12 caliber post, she didn't play like it tonight. |

I think Jones is ill. She did not look right; not hustling, not really engaged.
It's the fourth game. Calm down.
I think it is clear that we are watching the coach try things out in real-time that would normally have been tried out in practice and pre-season. Stop judging this as a typical year only 4 games in. Sheesh.

This is sad. With the loss of Pivec, Slocum, et al., this team has really regressed. Beavers played worse than any single game I can recall from all last season. This team is slow and not athletic, except for a 1 or 2 players. It is going to be a "long" shortened season.

But several posters tried to tell me this team would be significantly better than last year....lol Next year, they should be much better I picked the Beavers to finish 6th in the Pac-12 this season....I'm thinking 8th at best now, only ahead of Cal, WSU, WA, and CO. |

I just got home and read the comments and saw the boxscore. If the rebounding was THAT bad, why did our 6’9 player only play 11 minutes? She had 6 points 5 rebounds and only 1 foul. One board every 2 minutes is outstanding.

Slow to react on defense, horrible job of rebounding, and turnover after turnover - I think the scorer must have been Sasha's uncle,; it sure seemed to me she had more than 6.
Scored 79 points in spite of 20 turnovers.

Folks. They played poorly tonight. Not going to argue much of what has been noted about the game. But remember that half this team is new, with 3 freshman in the rotation. It's not going to be a top 4 conference finish, but it's not as bad as you all make it sound. No excuses, but have some perspective (3 frosh, Taya back after a year, 2 new transfers.) That's alot of roster change. Give them time and some grace.
