Holy s%#t! Did you really just write that? As long as the cops don’t kill more than their quota, it’s ok. where has scubasteve been all these years? He’s got all the answers! The Holy and s%#t is that's what you read. Dude you need meds. Really. Wow. I need meds? You’re suggesting that it only matters if cops killing blacks has increased. It’s there. In your text. Read it, man. It is disgusting.

You do fit a profile a sensationalist would love. ASK THE QUESTION... As it is implied in many protests that black men are increasingly being killed. Dude... you are beyond replying to. I feel for those that have to personally be subjected to your rants and thought process. Be well. Know the world isn't ending anytime soon. For any of us.🍻 LOL! No, sir, you are wrong. There is no such implication at the protests. Instead, they are saying “ENOUGH!” (Actual signage from the rallies.) it isn’t about the frequency; it is about the system that looks the other more often than not. It’s about a system that permits racial profiling and consistently favors one race over the others. Now, you might say that you don’t feel privileged just being white. But privilege isn’t about making your life easier exactly. Privilege is that your life is not harder simply because of your skin color.

The answer is no (just the opposite). So, what is so "holy s%#t!" about it? Really?! The holy s%#t part comes when you recognize that it shouldn’t be about how many people of color are being killed each year, but that they are. Simple. Unless you can come up with an acceptable number of black people to sacrifice each year to keep them suppressed.

Unless you can come up with an acceptable number of black people to sacrifice each year to keep them suppressed. What is the stat for non-violent crime... you know, like George Floyd? Violent crime, of course, has the lowest rate of crime in the nation in general. Way below that of property crime, larceny, fraud, etc. This is of course a tiny slice of the whole and a woefully misleading stat. It is among the lower probability of reasons a person will interact with police. Lies, damn lies, and statistics ya know. Because I can also pull up a statistic (dated, 2012 FBI supplementary crime report) that says 32% of all deaths by police are black people, and they make up 13% of the population... and even as I point that out, I can also tell you there are issues with that study I just cited. It is generally not a good idea to research a topic via twitter.

Luckily, part of the protests is simply about police violence, regardless of skin color. Reimagining the structure of the police would benefit all, not simply people of color.

Actually that is not correct, it is being discussed, but I'm sure it will work great. Who better to call when someone enters my house with a gun in hand than and unarmed social worker!! You'll call a cop. Except he/she won't show up in a Humvee with a 50 cal Gatling gun. I've called cops before. After a break in at my house. They showed up an hour later, in a squad car. Just saying. Also, Gatling guns were invented in 1862, last used in 1912, hand cranked and never fired a modern .50 cal projectile. Just some facts for you.....

Unless you can come up with an acceptable number of black people to sacrifice each year to keep them suppressed. You are making an assumption that they are being killed due to their race. You are also making another assumption that it's always at the hand of a white cop.
The end of your last sentence (to sacrifice ... to keep them suppressed) also shows you automatically categorize it as purposefully intentional killing with racist motives. Are you equally as outraged that it ever happens, period, regardless of the race of the person killed or the race of the cop?
lol ... you're so cute ... lol

There were only 27 days during 2019 that the police did not kill someone. Don't misread that. This statistic includes all people, not just black people. So part of the good that BLM movement has brought is exposure to this high rate of violence within in the police.
Another rebuttal that you might have is that the victim probably deserved it. This is a common objection. Don't do anything wrong and the police won't harass you. But this is not the American system of justice. In fact, capital punishment is rarely carried out on the most heinous of crimes, so what gives the police the right to take a life for attempting to pass a counterfeit bill? Seriously. I want to know.
Further, if it were true, then you should see more police killings in areas where there is high/violent crime, but that's not the case. Check out this site for more interesting facts: mappingpoliceviolence.org/
To combat the Black Lives Matter movement, people shout that All Lives Matter, but really that's not true for them. They say All Lives Matter, but when the black man's neck is knelt on for 9 minutes, they say he had it coming. They say All Lives Matter, but when they want to get a haircut during COVID they say COVID only kills old people. They say All Lives Matter, but when someone dies at an ICE facility they say they shouldn't have come here. They say All Lives Matter, until you order a cake for your gay wedding and they say that's against my religion.
So what do you think? Do all lives matter or not?

That's the second time so far that I've been sent a video of a Black person espousing white ideology. Nice. Uncle Tom is alive and well.
Anti-racism as a religion is a poor metaphor. Not even going there. It's asinine and it does nothing to further his argument.
Second, there is no doubt that people kill people more than cops kill people. God help us if it ever goes the other direction!!
However, I live in a predominantly white town in a very white state. So the odds are that, were I to be killed, I would be killed by another white person. The statistics also tell us that we will be killed by a family member. (OK, so maybe I won't be killed by a white person. LOL!) Or someone close to us.
So why do black people kill black people? Duh.
All in all, his best point is that racism is an important issue that needs discussion. Yup. And it doesn't stop with the cops. But cop killings show how pouring more money and militarizing one part of a city's services is absurd. It does nothing to address the inequities and the institutionalizing of poverty and racism.
This is why we must DEFUND THE POLICE!
Thank you for the interesting video and the opportunity to see very clearly what we need to do!

Wow, you are just a special kind of downright STUPID! Thanks for illuminating that point, above! Better to be stupid than racist.

Better to be stupid than racist. You're BOTH (as you clearly demonstrated, above). Don't kid yourself! Because I think what the black guy in your video is sharing is BS? LOL.
Let me ask you a question. What are you doing to help end racism in the US? What are your plans? How can we do it? Do you care?

Typical.

That's NOT what you said, disingenuous $#!+bag. Lol Well, it's hard to have a conversation with someone if they don't read the post. I listened to your damned video. The least you could have done is to read ALL of my post concerning it.
Regarding name calling, you're starting to sound like old baseba1111. When you run out of anything to say, call the other poster a name. It's OK. I've been called worse than stupid and disingenuous. And I don't know you, and you don't know me.
I think my posts stand for themselves. I'm ok if you don't agree with me, because like I said long ago, there's a line being drawn and you're either on one side or the other. Too bad you're on the wrong side for the wrong reasons.
Peace out! I'm done.
