Saw this on Twitter from www.hoopdreamathletics.com : Asia Todd 5'10" SG - is now in the Tranfer Portal. This kid school over 2300pts in High School. Scored 102pts in 2 days for what it's worth Todd played against the Beavs last season and struggled, scoring 2 points in 24 minutes played in a loss to the Beavs in Miami. She averaged 8.6 points per game, but her shooting percentage (41.6%) and assists (1.3) per game aren't appealing. Her assist-to-turnover ratio was 0.7. Plus, she would have to sit out next season in all likelihood. A hard pass on her by OSU. The program needs another point guard that can play in '20-'21 to take some pressure off from Goodman and ideally allow her to spot up for threes as a two guard on occasion. Her 3 pt shooting is 41.3%. Not too shabby.

Jordan Sanders, a 5-11 G from UC Irvine is grad transferring. Had 23 points against OSU. Only played 7 games as a junior, but averaged 20.3 PPG as a sophomore.
Jovana Subasic, a 6-4 F from Wazzu, is also grad-transferring.

Sanders definitely is/was a talented player. Freshman of the year in 2017/2018 in the Big West. 1st team all Big-West as a sophomore averaging 20.3 points per game and 7.1 rebounds (led the team). Not sure what happened to her last year. I did read a report that she was injured (only played 7 games), but I didn't see anything about what the injury was. Since she only played 7 games, she will probably still have 2 years eligibility remaining. She's from Missouri, so maybe she wants to head back that way.
Thanks for the info beaverwbb. I still want to see the Beavs land a guard who will be eligible next year. I haven't watched any video on Jordan, but statistically you have to like what you see from her freshman and sophomore seasons.

Some recent activity among Pac 12 schools. Jovana Subacic leaving WSU (5th year Sr.) and Sara Anastasieska leaving Cal (6th year Sr.).

Katie recently began following Vivian Gray, a 6-1 W who is transferring from Oklahoma State and was an AP HM All-American. She is likely to follow her bestfriend, Bryn Gerlich, to Texas Tech.

Good player, poor shooting percentage, doesn't seem to be showing any interest in the Beavs, and very interested in Texas Tech. With the Beavs roster, and what is coming in, where do you think she would fit in? Would certainly make the Beavs deeper.

Vivian is a volume shooter. Not OSU's style of player. She'll be great somewhere but I don't see it here.

Her current OSU squad has few shooters/scorers, and depend heavily upon her to score. She is athletic, and, most importantly, strong mentally. Would love to have her on our team.

Thanks. It's just that I find terms like "strong mentally" and "mentality" fairly pointless words unless they are somehow connected to action on the court.
What is it that you see on the court? Obviously something positive.
Not a big deal, really. It's just that the attributing of mental attributes, or psychological traits, to an athlete is kind of a dead end street if they are not associated with behavior on the court... GO BEAVS!!.

Great motor on the floor, hustle on defense, rebounding, and someone not afraid to take the last shot. Tough, all-around player. Would be a great Beav.
