A lot of the band wagon fans have jumped ship already. The final home attendance might effect that next week. English major needed......effect or affect? My business major says affect You just sit in in mom basement living on the dole and complain after your wife left you.

So many offensive opportunities for Washington if she had a 15' and in game. Passes them up though.

This is a game of match ups we don't line up very well. They are two 6/4 and a 6/3 they will go inside at will. With us not open for threes we might as well go from a three guard to two posts ie trisha you.d think.
But to be this close so far is very commendable. These girls have a lot of heart, very proud of them! The way Destiny is playing we will be lucky if she doesn't go pro after season.

Jones and Slocum were terrific. They threw so many different defenders at Jones and she just kept scoring. She’s doing a much better job guarding Prechtel as well.
Going to need more offensive contributions to win though. Washington struggles offensively to score, but Slocum feeds off of her really well.

As an aside, WSU leading UCLA late and Hristova is dominating Onyenwere! Freshman Osborne had 28 points!

If we just close our on their threes a little better I think we take this one. We did an extremely poor job of that in the 2nd half vs UCLA tho

It might be 2 versus 5 we can't get any threes going. Jones needs to be taught how to draw a foul. She leaves her feet to much defensively and she needs to be taught to let the dribbled bring the defender to her with a screen instead of trying to go the the dribbler

Do they draw straws before the game to figure out which guard will play well? Only Slocum drew a straw today. Getting nothing from any of the others. Still hanging in there but 2 on 5 vs. Stanford is a losing proposition.
