Here's hoping the Beavers can catch a break or two (or more) and somehow do what right now appears highly unlikely , beat the Cardinal!
Go Beavers.

Good call skyrider....There's definitely less buzz and less chatter this week - especially considering we're looking at Stanford. In January this match-up was thought by many (including me) to basically settle the fight for second place in the Pac... Well, it certainly has not panned out that way......UCLA is better than most of us expected, so is Arizona....For whatever the reasons, and there are many, the Beavs are a quite a bit weaker than most of us expected....
So, we're looking at a game that was once thought to be of national significance reduced to a game where the outcome (from the Beavs point of view) is mainly a struggle to prove to ourselves that we can still host the first round of the tourney....
For me, I support this team and I will continue to support this team..However, I just don't know what to expect from them......Not knowing what to expect from your team increases your nervousness, and dampens enthusiasm. At least for me, I'm bewildered as to why they cannot finish a game with the skill and precision that has been the hallmark of OSU the past 4 or 5 years....
But, heck, maybe that's just me.....I've just returned from the LA road trip and it took a bit out of me....I'm not giving up on the Beavs. Don't intend to. But right now I'm just a bit weary.....Here's hoping' Friday night turns things around..... GO BEAVS !!

It is perplexing with the plethora of good ball handling guards that the Beaver's have, that they seem to be often unable to handle the last few minutes of games. As others have stated, somehow this team just doesn't seem to function well as a group on the offensive side of the ball.

I think Stanford is vulnerable. I believe our team can win. I suspect this week's practice has been all about turnover reduction, and hopefully offensive production!! GO BEAVS.

I would hazard a guess that it's also been about building a new rotation due to the injuries. Furd's tough enough fully staffed; going to be a real coaching job - and Jones is going to have to stay out of foul trouble.

Beavs are something like 1-30 in Maples. The one win a 2 OT game a couple years ago. I'll watch the game and hope for the best, but highly doubt they'll pull a win out. Happy to be wrong though! If this team was full strength plus playing better basketball , I'd be more optimistic.

After the men's game beat down and the baseball loss, I say PLEASE BEAT STANFORD. I definitely need a Beaver win.

My pop psych thought is that the loss to Stanford knocked the Beav's on their tails and they haven't recovered. They thought they had it won until the end of the game. Destiny, Mik and SR were shell shocked in the presser after the game. If they can beat Stanford down there it's a whole new season. But that's asking a lot. I'm hoping they can deliver a lot!
GO BEAV'S

Go Beavers. A lot of the band wagon fans have jumped ship already. The final home attendance might effect that next week.

I think they have a chance if there are several of them hitting 3 pointers that would loosen up the middle. In the balance, I thought they played well against UCLA considering the foul trouble and Destiny being out for while, and their defense is probably still trying to adjust to the loss of Kennedy Brown.

Why does Stanford require media credentials to view the live stats. The only PAC-12 school that does that. (I think)
