Hugely true. Look at their bigs compared to ours. Sabally plays like a guard. Our bigs are afraid to dribble, and non factors on the perimeter it’s true that’s your opinion

All credit to the ucks. They earned this one on the defensive end. Holding Beavs to 20 second half points.
Very glad to have seen the last of Ionescu (1-3) in Gill Coliseum.

I will give you their big vs our big, but not the rest. We had the same game challenges against Stanford and they simply do not have the same talent as OSU, with the exception of one player. Hustle is the problem. id agree for the most part our guards can keep with anyone. But Sabrina takes them to another level. I would say that what Sabrina brings is her "assit-ability". I don't think I have seen a player, mens or womens, that dishes the ball better when penetrating to the hoop. That's what I see as her difference, which is special.

This team is missing that fire they have had the last several years. I wonder why.

No interior offense refs took that away from us in the first half. three fouls on Jones. They saw who kept our girls in it in eugene. Our offense was running thru Jones quite a bit. Our two scorers are strapped you might say from getting production. pisses me off. This is how a game outcome can happen by getting into the mind of kids by not letting them play.
But we have also had some bad luck also losing Tudor and Coresdale two very good starters.
We can still make the dance let's keep developing what we have....go beavs

Won’t be surprised if our WBB wins out that’s including win at Stanford. They are better than today’s game. Hope just learned from those 3 loses to help turn around. Still have a chance to beat the ucks at PAC-12 tourney. Many games to play. Go Beavs !

I just don't see where the confidence in this team is coming from.

Good defensive effort. Held ucks to their second lowest point total of the season.
But ucks hold Beavs to their second lowest points this season as well.

What irritates me about both games: - One of our top-2 have a great game in one and didn’t show up in the other. Needed great efforts from both players to win against UO. - We had one awful quarter in both games, and hung even for the other three in both games. Can’t do that against the ducks.

I believe Kennedy will be a great player, but we really miss Taya. Her with Taylor would have been a phenomenal combo and will be next year. Kennedy has no confidence right now. hoping for a phenomenal combo Taya/Kennedy for the next TWO seasons. In Taya’s senior year, Brown and Jones will be Juniors. Simmons and Trish will be Seniors. Goforth will be a Sophomore. Add even one HS class of ‘21 contributing player and I’ll bet there might be some pretty exciting games a Gill.

Give Oregon credit, they won a game with their defense, not something they could have done 2 years ago . Beavs need something they can’t count on offensively and haven’t found it yet,
Brown is long on all of her misses, she just needs to relax. Not sure why Mik struggles so much at the foul line, she’s great at mid range jumpers.
Learn the lessons now, hopefully it will pay off in March.
