FS1 and FS2 no issues... but Fox and other local channel games are not on Sling. I love not having cable or SAT! I watch anything I want for half the price. Some shows do not have DVR capability... but can record most. I make my own antenna’s. A 1x4, some copper welding rod, a coax to ant adapter, 2 beers, and presto! Instant free over the air HD. Hell, just cut up some metal coat hangers... Your directional distance to a broadcasting tower matters. Fortunately I live on a hill in Salem with a clear shot north. But honestly, you can get a pretty good outdoor long range antenna these days for like $50. that is not a huge investment required to cut the cable. If you rock sling you can buy an AirTV for $100 + $50 for an antenna, and have the local channel put straight into your Sling guide. again, not a huge investment to cut the cord.

I enjoy YouTubeTV so far. It isn’t perfect but it gives me all the local channels and a good number of other channels including a lot of sports channels. Unlimited recording, too. It’s $49 a month, but you’ll want decent internet. No Pac 12, though. So I have to borrow my son’s login info since apparently there’s a deal between Pac 12 and OSU housing.
My opinion is that the Pac 12 channel sucks, and I’m glad that I don’t pay money for it. I applaud the channel for looking for ways to increase broadcast and revenue, but it needs to put out a better product. Simple as that.
I very much doubt that the network would ONLY be broadcast on AppleTV+. As a streaming service, AppleTV+ has a long way to go and currently can’t hold its own against the competition. More than likely, it’s AppleTV+ that is trying harder to provide competitive content.
But honestly, I’m sick of all the streaming services and subscriptions.

Location: Salem, OR
Comcast internet: old "Blast" level. ~25mb up and down $60/mo. Not sure what black magic I pulled off by I have had a price lock for like 5 years now at this level... It is pretty good. I never buffer while streaming, and we can have multiple streams at the same time. I have two teenage daughters.
Sling TV: Orange+Blue and sports extra. $49.98/mo (new price I think. that was my charge that just hit like two days ago) This package gives me Pac-12 (and others), NFL network, Redzone, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3 (which carries most ABC primetime broadcasts) FS1.
My intention is to get an AirTV box and set up an antenna. I have drug my feet on it, mostly due to no desire to hang out on my roof in the Oregon winter. I have gotten by with Fox Sports app and NBS sports app. Both allow the Sling TV login to get you access. CBS and regular ABC remain an issue until I get the antenna set up
Hulu: regular ads included version $5.99 I use this almost exclusively for Letterkenny. My family watches other shows though.
Netflix: $12.99 I am all aboard that Witcher hype train.
Amazon Prime: $12.99 (I should pay for it in year chunks, not sure why I ended up month to month...) I don't really watch too many prime shows. It worked out okay for Thursday night football though. I figure I get my Prime's money worth over Christmas every year, so whatever.
Disney+ I bought the year for $70 ( I think. close to that). All aboard that Mandalorian hype train. My kids, however, watch the s%#t outta Disney+

Roku stick x2 thru Amazon special ($14.99 for two)
Spectrum internet: ~100mb $44.99/mo. grandfathered deal?? +$24.99 Local channel package. "New" pricing has just internet at $80... not sure how or why we stayed at intro price... added local channels + that over lapped some of the Sling and stayed at that price.
Sling TV: Orange+Blue and sports extra. $49.99... package gives me ALL the Pac-12 channels, NFL network, Redzone, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU, FS1, FS2, plus m,any other channels we watch.
Netflix: $9.99 + Prime as part of a student package that we both can log into/use
HBO+/Showtime: $15.99 total thru another deal.
Under $150 which was what just SAT was without internet included... plus we have no issues, all the stuff we want, no blackouts to deal with. As competition heats up who knows what prices will be in the future. I assume we will always be researching for best situation for the $.

"I am all aboard that Witcher hype train"
Just started watching that a few nights ago. My wife and I found it tough to follow the the first few episodes, and she watches a bunch of British series. It started getting easier to follow about 5 episodes in.

"I am all aboard that Witcher hype train" Just started watching that a few nights ago. My wife and I found it tough to follow the the first few episodes, and she watches a bunch of British series. It started getting easier to follow about 5 episodes in. at the start, Ciri is the "present". Her story is always the "now". Geralt is about 30 years in the past when he is the Butcher of Baklivan, and his story moves forward in time Yennifer is about 80-100 years in the past when she is discovered and her story moves forward, at a faster rate. They time jump a lot without explanation, but it should be evident by episode 4, and the fact the time lines are converging should be very clear by ep 5 and by episode 8 everything is in the "present". There are some hints along the way. Episode 4 is a big one when Yennifer mentions she has wasted 3 decades on the king's court. I am not sure how far you are, in a later episode she will mention she has lived two lifetimes already. I think episode 6 has Yennifer noting to Jaskier that his "crow's feet are new" indicating at that point Geralt and Jaskier have been palling around for about 10 years. It is an execution flaw of the show, but if you can get past that... it is really good. I think they tried to be a little too clever here. mild backfire. Still a rock solid show for a lot of other reasons. It helped I was familiar with the source material before seeing the show.

I pretty much dvr all sports due to schedules. Does sling have a dvr? Yes... at least for the channels I've used... all ESPNs, Pac12s. I know some don't... History for one.
