Personally I'm most looking forward to see the Freshman bigs against elite competition. I'm sure it will be drinking from a firehose for them, but I'm excited to see how they approach it.

Agree - much of our early competition could be argued is not Pac-12 level, or won't have elite bigs, or...... Team USA represents highest order talent - folks immediately concluded Stanford will be scary good as a result of their showing. I want us to be able to benchmark ourselves similarly. We have seen most of the team and have some sense of how they perform and stack up against top level talent, but we don't know what we have in Jones/Kennedy...... Score doesn't matter, a bit of star gazing will occur as well, but at the end of the game we will have a better sense of where the bigs are at today, and what we might see from them this season.
Go Beavers!

Personally, I could care less about the score. I think both teams will be trying to see what works best for them. The Beavs have been playing so many cupcakes (between Italy and exhibition) that this will be like a slap in the face for them, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them play poorly, at least early on. I think having this game will be great prep for the real season to begin in a few days.
I hope for 1) no injuries, 2) for the younger players to get some playing time, 3) for the projected starting lineup to get some time together against stiff competition.
I guess I'm most curious to see how Taylor will do considering she didn't get to play AAU ball last summer, her competition in High School, and thru the Italy trip until now, has not been very competitive. If she holds up well in this game, it will be hard to contain the excitement of us fans. I expect it may be tough for her and Kennedy (as well as Trish and Jazz), but this experience, and the experience in the weeks to come should lead to a pretty strong team come tournament time.

I anticipate that Jones and Brown will get schooled in this game, and that's a good thing. It's come too easily for the 2 freshmen thus far (particularly Jones) against smaller, less talented opposition. This will ensure that they get a feel for how much tougher it's going to be against PAC 12 competition. I look for Team USA to take the ball right at Jones, and for her minutes to be limited because of foul problems. Once again, a good thing. Much better to learn the lesson sooner rather than later.
Anybody know how many tickets they've sold?

They don’t show detail of GA seats, but I am guessing it is pretty close to a sell-out.

I too want to especially see how Taylor, Brown, Morris deal with TUSA's bigs. IMO even though this is an exhibition game, it will tell us more about OSU's strengths and weaknesses than all the games against the cupcakes this year, combined.

I'm anxious to see how much Jas has improved over the summer. She's the one that has been the hardest for me to evaluate so far.

To be the best, you have to compete against the best ... I want to see how we handle the defense and how well we can run our offense - no matter who is on the floor.

Right on Shelby!
People will still compare scores between teams. Happens in football all the time

I'm also interested to see what the rotation looks like tonight. Does SR, especially in the first half, go with a shorter bench and give the starters a longer run. Or does he treat it like the games in Italy and the exhibitions and really rotate folks in and out.

I want to see our starting 5 against their starting 5 - the USA team is not going to want to lose to a college squad, and as much as I have my orange tinted contacts in, I don't think they will. But let's match up 5 on 5 and see how much pressure we can put on them. Furd's not got our backcourt, and I think we outgun them at at least one of the forward spots - Go Beavs!

Why is Taylor Jones not in the picture? Behind USA #53 (with her specs on).
