OK, I found a surprising comment on Stanford's "CardBoard" about Greta's choice of OSU (no. 2 below) - 1. mbdude Wrote: Kampschroeder played on USA 3x3 team with Sasha Goforth who previously committed to OSU - sure that influenced her decision 2. shifa Wrote: Which why I was surprised as Goforth (signed) is also friends/played with or against with Taylor Jones who one of multiple players unhappy at OSU. Maybe recruits are completely unaware of team issues until later/upon arrival and all is painted as one big happy family? 3. 2006alum Wrote: Count me among the unaware. Is this a really recent development? I don't think OSU has had even a single transfer-out in the past few seasons? Given how common that's become, I'd say that's the best objective metric of team happiness. But if you know more, please enlighten. ----I think it's pure B.S. Probably just a troll trying to stir the pot. Posters on team sites go with any rumor or innuendo they find. But OSU has had transfers and players leave over the past few seasons. Not like we're immune to that for whatever reason. But, how is posting that "BS" in a Furd board stirring the pot? You reposting it here will indeed do that. Does that make you a/the troll? 🤔 If you can't understand why posting false stories as fact stirs the pot, I can't help you. But on your second point, you are so right. Pointing out fake information (about one's favorite team) on the internet as being fake makes me a troll. Good logic there. Gee, CNN points out many fake and false stories that arise on other networks, social media, etc. as being fake and false. Damn CNN, they are huge trolls too. Talk about stirring the pot! Shut 'em down I say. And, by the way, your comments on my topic perpetuate the story further...sounds like the work of a troll stirring the pot even more.

You visited the site, was there a huge discussion? If so please share the "pot". Next... CNN is as guilty as any media outlet these days. Third... I've seen crazier things posted on this board and folks claim it false that indeed weren't... a bunch in the GAG era alone. You know what was said is false? Or are you just shooting in the dark like you accuse said poster? Curious... In any case it'd be much more fun to be debating baseball results at this time of the year.

Brown made a lateral transfer as far as education goes, both schools have good business programs with gt a bit better. It wasn't for playing time either, she went from a starting position in a final four program to a team with an overabundance of 6'4" players. A mutual friend mentioned that she had a very personal reason for leaving.
Kalmer left for playing time among other reasons. She was not happy her last season as a beaver, even in the school starting video.

Not too many reasons matter. Most aren't our business as fans. Wish the departed well, cheer those on the team. Basic, but it's all that really matters.

You people do know that the Card Board is the laughing stock of all Stanford boards. It's a haven for Dorks and Dweebs and the biggest Rah-Rah cheerleader board north of L.A.
Touch the smart guys at the Bootleg or Cardinal Sports Report.

I think I have a good sense of humor too Making absurd, contrarian statements about an opponent without providing facts is an attempt to stir the pot...you can deny or question this all you want. It clearly was an attempt...not my burden to research/know why it failed to get more interest on the CardBoard. Maybe it didn't generate much response because they have a hard time taking first time posters seriously, especially when they make unsubstantiated, potentially preposterous claims? Like I said, I can't help you. I can find many statements made my numerous OSU players that illustrate and demonstrate their team cohesiveness and general contentment. The opposite? Nadda. You seem bent on defending the rogue poster...maybe you have some hard evidence backing his statement? If this topic so boring to discuss, why do you persist?

If this topic so boring to discuss, why do you persist? Boring? Rather the virus wasn't here and baseball was happening. Never mentioned boring?? So, you're saying there was no stirring of any pot there? And, to my knowledge players, like coaches say things in public that might not always be completely true. Again the GAG era is an easy example. Defending a "rogue" poster? Damn it! I hate when I do that. Wait... How? And, why are they "rogue"? You have no idea this person is dishonest. Nor do I care that they posted. Hell, I wouldn't know if you hadn't brought it up. I simply started by stating that I'm not sure how it was stirring up anything on that board. And... as of now you verified it hadn't. Let us all know if this SOB causes any great commotion. Oh... and what if your posting that info here initiated more posts than their post? Are you then the rogue troll stirring the pot? Just trying to get this all straight. You know, boring s%#t... you tend to lose track of your place. Thx... I'll take your response off the air. I'm already the "stick in the mud", don't want to be the "rogue defender"* also. *unless it's a new beer and I get free supply

Yadda, yadda, yadda...at this point, I really don't give a crap what you have to say. Now I understand why so many folks on this board don't care for you and your antics. Like many others, I'm through wasting my time. But, feel free to keep chatting well into the morning hours. If the adolescent in you needs the last word, go for it. Aloha.

Hi I’m a Stanford fan and have posted here before and keep a running WBB recruiting tread on both the bootleg and the cardboard
First congrats on landing Kampschoerder and congrats to her.
We don’t know who this new poster on the cardboard is but he/she is backtracking in the post about players unhappy at Oregon state
Stanford has had three grad transfers and one undergraduate transfer in the past 5 years. At least one and maybe two no 5th year scholarship available. Stanford normally has 15 on scholarship. The one undergrad went to Harvard
Stanford drew 3500 per game last year hardly a morgue
The cardboard is the best of the three Stanford boards for discussing WBB and a number of other sports like softball tennis and golf. The bootleg I’m a member now 25 years, and the Stanford Rivals now 13 years are private paid sites the cardboard is free.
Happy to be both a Deeb lol and a combat vet Geesh lol
Best to all love your board. Stay healthy

Kampschoerder notes from Prospect Nation:
Kampschroeder To Oregon State The old rule used to be that only Stanford and sometimes UCLA could recruit nationally in the Pac-12. Oregon State continues to prove times have changed, the latest evidence being the commitment of Greta Kampschroeder of Naperville, Illinois.
Kampschroeder, the 6-0 guard ranked No. 26 in the 2021 by ProspectsNation.com, is the first commitment for Scott Rueck and his staff in the class. The Beavers’ 2020 class included Sasha Goforth of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Savannah Samuel of Woodstock, Georgia. In 2019 they program reached out to Texas and Kansas to land Taylor Jones and Kennedy Brown.
“Kampschroder has the size to be a perfect cog in the Oregon State wheel,” Brandon Clay, ProspectsNation.com publisher, said. “In one evaluation of mine, she had a tough challenge matching up with Brea Beal (University of South Carolina rising sophomore) but gave the elite prospect all she could handle on both ends of the floor, not backing down even though her shot wasn’t falling as it normally does. I wrote then that if Kampschroeder can develop her outside shot, her value increases at the next level as a result. For a program armed with high level interior players, perimeter shooting keeps the floor spaced. Scott Rueck and his crew will look for Kampschroeder to do just that when she arrives in Corvallis.”
That improvement appears to be taking place as she had several games this high school season with three or more made 3-pointers.
