I'm starting a new thread because the current 2021 thread is getting lengthy and cumbersome......
Adam over on Beaverblitz has a new article today on Greta Kampschroeder who appears to be one of the Beavers' top priorities for the 2021 class....
The article is rather thin on actual basketball info, but it does a really good job pointing out how diligent and dedicated the OSU staff is in recruiting the players they really want....
The article also reports that Greta will visit Corvallis in late October to scope out the campus, the players, and the atmosphere in Corvallis....One final point: Stanford is also one of her favourites. And Michigan.......It won't be easy getting her signature !!🏀

I hope it isn't pouring down rain when she visits. I wish they would visit in Sept. when the weather is little nicer and more inviting.
On another note. I'm starting to get the same good vibes about Peyton Verhulst as I did about Taylor Jones before she committed to the Beavers. Keith Jones (Taylor's dad) did a lot of retweeting about osu wbb news. Well David Verhulst (Payton's dad) is also retweeting a certain amount of woman's BB news. Now I don't want to jinks the process but this is just my gut feeling. Keeping my fingers crossed. GO S.R. and the BEAVERS !!!!

Just curious: was any such tweet sent out for Dalayah Daniels visit?
Not sure how the OV process works when some visiting athletes are acknowledged and others are not....
Anyone know what the deal is on this??

We appear to be in the top 3-4 for Kampschroeder. |

beaverwbb fan - - thanks for finding the DD tweet....I missed it......It is just about the only thing I have seen written by anyone from OSU about her visit....
Her verbal to Cal came very shortly after her OSU visit, but it's hard to know what that means before she, or someone in her family, says what it means....
Angie over at Beaverblitz says she tried to contact DD after her OSU visit but her calls went unanswered....
Whatever the case, DD's commit shows that Cal's new coach has impressive recruiting skills as she has now reeled in Cal's best class in a long time - in just the first year of her new contract....

411500, and everyone, I'm not sure if it was just in the wording, but just so everyone knows and understands, OSU Women's Hoops News is not affilated with Oregon State Womens basketball. It's an NCAA violation for the school, coaches, or those affiliated with Beavers WBB, to talk about a prospective athlete until that prospect has signed a letter of intent. This is why you never hear anyone from OSU say anything about a prospect being in town, whether that be a official or unoffical visit. Usually about the best you get is a pic of the player with a coach, or in Beaver gear, and that is because the player puts the pic out.

She just looks like a high quality Beaver athlete ! She belongs here to become one of the next in a long line of optimally developed and successful athletes in an elite basketball program.
I look at some of the kids Scott and staff have recruited and the fact that we continue to rise in our National standing, while the teams with similarly high rated recruits are status quo.
The PAC 12 has passed up the powers from the South and the Northeast !

We are in very good shape to land Greta, and after her visit, we were in the lead by a good bit. Of course that can all change after her Stanford visit, but she likes OSU a lot.

Coming from you, whom I respect for your connections and 'as close to insider' information as one Beaver can get - that may be good news.
At least we are getting a good look from someone that appears to be a great fit, in the classroom, in the community and on the court. Scott , must have a very refined process to get the athletes whom he thinks fits and the athletes get to OSU for some serious visit time.
