Greta has narrowed her list to three - Oregon State, Stanford, and Iowa. Any indication of when she'll make her decision?

Wasn't the 11/30 Top 5 from von Oelhoffen?

Coach Faulkner is at Greta’s game tonight. If any of the coaches can close the deal and prompt a potential recruit to lean to committing, I think that sending Katie is OSU's best strategy. Battling an uphill battle with Stanford in the mix. If she is accepted into Stanford, it would be very difficult for Greta to turn that elite education down. More immediate playing time would be one of our better selling cards.

Good to see Coach Faulkner at Greta's game again. I fully expect Greta will be one on Oregon State's early official visits. Most likely in May. It will be super tough to beat Stanford though, but the Beavs need a few recruiting victories this season. Last year we heard often how the Beavs were in on Clark, Van Lith, Bueckers, etc and landed a couple good ones in GoForth and Samuel. I hope this recruiting cycle will see the coaches land a couple of their top targets. The effort is really there!

I don't think Samuel was considered that big of a prize (by other programs) at the time of her signing....But her stock has elevated since then.... Speaking of Samuel - has anyone found info on how her team is doing in Regional and State playoffs in Georgia???...Someone posted earlier that she earned POY in her h.s. conference.... Any other info out there??? GO BEAVS !!

Any other info out there??? GO BEAVS !! I'm not really sure how Georgia girls hoops is organized... It goes as high as 7A... 1A Private, 1A Public thru the 7A level. St Francis has the #1 power rating overall on the State of Georgia (GHSA) site, #4 overall on MaxPreps for all classifications, 12-0/26-3. They were the #1 seed in the Private School Class A State Bracket... 1st Rd bye, then 2nd Rd 76-44 win, where she had 27/6. Game tonight, 7:30p, vs the #8 seed Mt. Parnan. She may play against great competition in summer ball, but it appears her league/non-league opponents are not good. Multiple 40, 50+ point wins. Of course they also have (2) highly ranked D1 players on their team... Teammate Amirah Abdur Rahim is also a 3*, 6'3" F/W, and is headed to Notre Dame. Samuel is the leading scorer at 21.2, shooting 52% overall, 34% from 3, 59 steals, BUT is not a distributor... only 25 assists vs 44 TO's

Doesn't mean she can't do it, and she will if she wants minutes at the next level.

baseba1111 - - good info on Samuel and her current season... I am interested to see if she garners state-wide honors this season....Having a schollie to OSU will undoubtedly give her name recognition and prestige.....But she will have to deliver in the playoffs.... GO BEAVS !!

St. Francis also has a 2021 PG in Mia Moore who is ranked top-75 by most services. I’d guess she handles a lot of the distributing duties.

Quick, effortless release on her shot - looks like another shooter with huge range
Reminds me physically of Pivec - just looks strong.. I also really like how she’s always heads up both on offense and defense - reminds me of GP2 who always looked around before deciding his next move.
