I'm not as skilled at video analysis as some of you....But, I do like her release. It's smooth and even, she uses her legs effectively, hence her shot doesn't require excessive arm strength. I like the idea that she's in the 6' range...that's a plus for sure....especially on defence....I hope Greta is the beginning of an influx of premiere players into our program...
Shifting gears: beating out Iowa and Stanford for her verbal is an impressive achievement for the staff.... Coming in March, even more so. It's a reminder to all the other prospects that 5* players are impressed with OSU and willing to commit to it....
Sitting in a full house, watching WBB seems like a distant happening, but its day will arrive.....and on that day, we'll be there..... GO BEAVS !!

It's be nice to say OSU "beat out" Furd, but it may be that Furd is at 14 schollies with the (3) signed already. With those they have (9) listed as guards, and leaves room for Carrington to return if it is a possibility.
The point, OSU offers a far greater chance of PT. Furd education is a no brainer, but 5-8 min/g vs 20+ is a big deal to a great player.

They had Greta on campus for a visit, and were at multiple of her open gyms and games. If that's not beating a school out, not sure what is! Not sure what Carrington has to do with anything?

Of course it can't be our coaching staff and team. We can only win a recruiting war by default.

Furd site says everyone except Carrington/Srs is returning... leaving 11 + 3 signees... oops... that is for next year!! My bad!!But, for '21 Furd has commit from the #4 Player, Brooke Demetre... and the only other offers so far are to #1 Fudd (G), #16 Citron (W). Visits and no offers extended (yet) to (7) others including Greta. Expected visit from (6) other, most top 20 types. A bit more competition for scholly and PT than OSU.

And, yep it is the coaching staff...

She was a long term, high priority recruit of theirs.

Hull, Brown - Jr: Jones, Jump, Belibi, Prechtel - So: Emma-Nnopu, Brink, Van Gytenbeek - Fr: Demetre That leaves four open scholarships for players in the 2021 class. I'm still not sure where Carrington comes in?

Furd has about 15 "long term, high priorities" every year and get 3-4+. They already have solid interest in 5 of the top 8 for 2022.

Greta would still get a degree from Stanford even if she sits on the bench the whole time. Even with orange glasses fully on, that alone is a very tough hurdle to overcome any recruit that cares at all about life beyond basketball.

They already have solid interest in 5 of the top 8 for 2022. Didn't matter for Van Lith. She could have chosen OSU where she likely would have started/contended for a starting spot from day 1, but instead, she chose Louisville, which will have a full roster of 15 players, including the reigning ACC POY Dana Evans at PG, most of which were 5-stars or McDonald's All-Americans. Stanford needs to sign off-guards in 2021, which is why they targeted Kampschroeder, Citron, Ducharme, and von Oelhoffen.

My head is spinning. You say PT and a bench of talented players affects recruits decision to not go there and then you say they recruit 3-4+ 5 star players each year. What? Stanford was interested in a great guard and so was OSU and we got her. Celebration for us beating out Stanford for a great player. Hopefully 2021 is our best recruiting class ever!!
