Please describe your experience with the Hawaii Facebook broadcast, and please list your device, your bandwidth (if you know).
My experience (on vacation). Mediocre hotel network w/low bandwidth, was not aware you needed a special Android app, trying to use my tablet. I didn't see the "broadcast".
Did the OSU Athletic Department have anyone try to watch an earlier broadcast on this set-up so they could tell us fans that there were some special requirements for people not at Windows computers?
(and I watched Rasmussen's perfect game against UCLA on a cell phone at a restaurant - so my tablet screen was plenty big enough)

My wife hooked me up as she's a Facebooker. I had a really superb connection the whole time. Well, until I fell asleep in the 3rd quarter that is.
Am I interested in watching another game that way? No. I'm sure there was a way to hook the laptop up to my real television, but I decided to settle for my shallow victory of getting it at all.

Got a little laggy around halftime, but refreshed and all was good. Didn't mind the announcers, though based on various comments I saw on facebook, sounds like I was definitely in the minority... but hey, Hawaii production, Hawaii announcers, so it goes.

Downloaded Facebook Watch App to my Apple TV. Streamed the game start to finish with zero issues. Have Xfinity Performance Plus for Internet, think I get around 160 mbps.

I ended up trying to watch it on my computer with a 12mbps dsl connection. Had lots of problems but most appeared to be computer or Firefox related rather than the stream. Basically it was unusable for me overall.
I have a Facebook account but normally do not install the app on my phone. Installed the app and tried casting it from my phone to my TV, but the casting part of that was a problem (not the stream's fault).

No problems at all on my laptop. None. The picture quality was excellent. Muted the sound and listened to Parker, even if he was about 30 seconds ahead.
Kudos to Hawaii for starting this game at 7 local time, instead of at some weird time for on-air TV. Putting the needs of their local fans first. I'd have no problem with OSU putting every home game on Facebook instead of network TV if it meant a 1 p.m., 2 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. kickoff.

Stream was fine on android phone, apple phone and on a Mac laptop.
Casting (Chromecast device) was slowing at times but that's literally the fault of my wireless modem. All we had to do was restart and it was good for another hour or so before the next restart. Casting on android was fine, other than the slowing, we never succeeded with casting off the apple phone.
We needed an app for casting, not viewing. For anything involving casting the troubles were on my end.

Got it on the internet feed from my TV. (mostly because I couldn't find my extra HDMI cable to attach my laptop to the TV).
I disliked it because I much prefer to DVR games so I don't have to worry about being interrupted or anything like that. When I watch games live, I often switch over to other channels during commercials, just to check on things, which I could not do
There were a couple of times I had a "hitch" in the broadcast. A few "loops" where we went back in time by 5-30 seconds and got to see the same thing a 2nd time.
It would be an OK way to watch the game if I weren't at home.

I watched using iPhone 8s. Quality was good. Only watched about maybe half of first half because at that time of night (I’m in EDT) I was falling asleep watching on small screen.

Amazon Fire Stick, FB app....find the feed. Easy as pie.
Stream got rough in 2-3 spots but overall was clear and flawless. 24k streamers at one time is a small blip in the scheme of things.

Also used Fire Stick and Facebook Watch App - no problem at all using XFinity in Portland.

Same as Fuzz. Amazon Firestick. Opened the built-in Facebook, searched for Stadium Games and had the game come up. It was clearer than most of the stations we end up on... Unfortunately, the results were all too clear.

Worked great, much preferred that to being on some random sports network I don't get (CBS Sports, BTN, ESPNU, etc.) Just hooked the laptop up directly to the TV with HDMI and it was great quality.
