Haven’t seen this posted... but note that the fourth game is not the originally scheduled 10am Pacific time... rather, it is at 9:30am per the latest osubeavers.com article.

Good thing for those who will try to watch that you caught that. If it's anything like the other 3 games, it will pretty much be over by 10:00.

Taylor Jones started today. The team has struggled offensively, missing a bunch of easy baskets. 15-13 at the end of 1st quarter

in just a few moments I saw: a beautiful fast break by Beavs (great finishing pass by Taya) / Incredibly athletic steal by Jasmine / some much improved quickness & confidence from Janessa / nice TOUGHNESS block by Taya. Excited!

It "appears" that we can assume that AA will never play for the Beavs. Sad deal indeed for the team and really a bummer for her I'm sure. Can the Beavs keep her on scholly AND use that as a hardship to add one more??

I have to believe that she still holds out hope that she will play. Otherwise, she would not continue to suit-up and go through warmups. Mark my words: Someday she will take the court in a game in Gill and she will get a standing ovation and bring tears to the eyes of beaver fans.

In today's game Jas Simmons again displayed her athleticism. She has fantastic feet on defense, and, is lighting quick getting down the court on the break. Jas is also taking and hitting the 3 ball! What I really liked is that with Destiny, Mik, and Aleah, we have 3 kids who can break down the defense, and, find the open 3 (Taya, Kennedy, and eventually the great Kat Tudor). Our BIGs are athletic, and, Rueck has options at the 3/4/5. I too, was impressed with how quick Janessa seems to be, she plays solid D, and solid Team D. With the BIGs we now have, I see Janessa getting many more minutes than Maddie.
Lastly, Destiny really impressed me on this trip. Destiny now seems so comfortable and confident in the OSU system. Destiny is going to make even bigger contributions this year, offensively, and, even defensively. Destiny's defense is soooooo much better now. She was terrific in the zone defense today, as was Jas Simmons.
Aleah and Mik were their normal selves, doing many things well. Lots to be excited about this season.

I only watched a bit of the game, but it must have been an archived version ( Thanks to the Thropays - very nice of you ). The reason I think it is archived is because, at the start of the game, things were pretty ragged and that is what I saw. Some good, some great, some not so good - to be expected when all you have been doing is traveling and eating pasta, pizza and gelato and Panna Cotta. No practice, and it appears, no challenging competition. However, this last game appears to have been the best of all 4 - just because the score was closer. I saw a little bit of half court pressure, some long arms protecting the lanes and some pretty good pressure on their ball handlers. Our shooting percentage has to have been quite low, as I saw many misses that looked like gimme's and many misses from 3. Taya hit one and Destiny hit one during the time I was watching. Looks like Rueck is going to have to work his ' development' magic again, with the good news being that the 'incoming' raw talent is looking pretty advanced, so far. Go Beavers, and Thanks again to the Thropays.
