One thing we haven't brought up for both the 2020 and 2021 seasons is the possibility of a graduate transfer. I have no idea who might be available then, but that option has seemingly solved a problem for Oregon this year. Excellent point you brought up that many of us seem to forget about. Nothing wrong with graduate transfers. Would anyone turn their backs on a Caitlyn Clark equivalent type of player. I think not.

Anyway, Hailey Van Lith is going elsewhere, and life is going on. We should have a hell of a ride coming up this season, so I'm going to start focusing on enjoying that, and stop stewing and fretting over recruiting.

It’s probably not a bad thing if she is more a 2 then a one Seems to me in her videos I’ve watched not much on the passing side. But to bad a lot of guards were out their for 2020.’ Would have been nice if we had three players completing 2019.

One player I really wish we landed was Kemery Martín. She ultimately chose Utah, but she had the looks of a great Beav.

Does anyone know if the USA vs OSU game will be broadcast? Opportunity to recruit! It will be on the Pac-12 Network. It was announced and there is a "Watch" link to the Pac-12 site on the schedule on osubeavers.com

Opportunity for Stanford and Oregon to recruit as well, although I haven't heard if those games will be televised. I hope Scott finds a way to get everybody into the game so they can all tell their grandchildren that they played against the United States Olympic Team.
Should be a fun night. Greatly looking forward to it.

She's listed as 6'0 - - I don't know anything about her game, or what position the Tree has in mind for her....But, maybe this will affect how Dalayah Daniels looks at Stanford.... Or, maybe it will affect how Stanford looks at DD.... GO BEAVS !!

Or, maybe it will affect how Stanford looks at DD.... GO BEAVS !! DD was at Duke this weekend. She might be going there anyway and not Stanford. Recall that OSU was/is the academic outlier of her final 6. I don't see her as OSU bound (wish my gut and head were wrong on this) (Also, my forum name is for my one and only dog, may he rest in peace, and not Duke University).

A couple of Pac-12 updates: -- Two Pac-12 schools, Arizona State and Oregon, have five-player 2020 classes. -- Three Pac-12 schools, California, Southern Cal, and Washington State have no commits -- Five international players have committed to Pac-12 schools (UCLA: 3, ASU: 1, and UA: 1) -- Six schools have received verbals from at least one top-100 player (UA, UO, OSU, STAN, UTAH, and UW)

Dalayah Daniels has not given a verbal commitment to anyone yet - as least to my knowledge.... So it looks like she is weighing her options rather seriously.....
We should be hearing soon whether she is taking an OV to check out the Beavs.....Just guessing, but she may be sorting out the relative merits of playing ball near home (OSU) where family can participate in her playing career and her university life, or head out to a higher prestige university in the East (or maybe Stanford)....
I hate to see the Beavs get shutout completely on the 3 National Top 14 players living in the Pacific Northwest (Brink, van Lith & Daniels)......... Our current recruiting class, as of now, is not up to level that a National program needs to stay on top...Without an additional prize recruit in 2020 the Beavs will very much need a dynamite class in 2021.
GO BEAVS !!

That article is pretty old, shown Oct 7, 2019. Hope #8 changed her mind and play in Corvallis closer to her home unless SR has a reason to pull out an offer.
