Lauren Ware committed to Arizona. Huge get for Adia Barnes. Recruiting didn't seem to be her strong suit when she was an assistant for Neighbors at Washington. Seems to be doing quite well in Tucson though. |

Lauren Ware committed to Arizona. Huge get for Adia Barnes. She's a good one, I think.... She plans to play volleyball AND basketall.... Both sports are impact demanding. At 6'3 her knees may be mashed potatoes by her Junior year.... |

How is that cold? Doesn't he put GO BEAVS at the end of every post? It's rather like your mother ending every letter with Lots of Love, Mom. If she sent you a one line note that read:
My Precious Bennyskid,
No time to write (so more later), but wanted to let you know your favorite uncle, Lennyskid, got run over by a steamroller and is dead."
Would you not expect her to still sign it, Lots of Love, Mom?

For those who follow Oregon HS Hoops:
Just realized Cameron Brink transferred high schools: she was previously at Southridge HS and has transferred to Mountainside HS.
A Brink-led Southridge team beat Mountainside by about 40 last year, so this years outcome will be interesting.

Trish Stevens went to my high school...one of the best athletes to ever play sports in Oregon. 4x state high jump champion,all-American in hoops and volleyball. Stanford all-American. Philomath high's finest. Cindy Brown was an all-American at Grant and Long Beach St. great athlete too. Karen Howell at St.Marys was a great one too along with Katy Steding. |
